I am a full-time college student working on my Bachelors of Social Work. I have a terribly dull day job that requires me to sit and be quiet all day so when not working I love to get out of the house. I love camping and hiking. Also, I like to pretend that I can dance and sometimes I even manage to pull it off.

I seem to particularly like music that is sad or angry although I am generally neither of those things. A few favorites are Fiona Apple, The Cure, The Cardigans, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Love and Rockets, Joy Division, She Wants Revenge, The Raveonettes etc.

I also love love love Doo-Wop music while driving, cooking or cleaning and hip-hop music for dancing, crafting or doing homework.

Veronica Mars, Dead Like Me and Extras....Is is bad that all of my favorite shows got canceled? Some shows that I like that are still around are MythBusters, Flight of the Conchords, Weeds....and when I need to geek out, So You Think You Can Dance.

I worked in a bookstore for six years, so I like books... a lot. A few of my favorites include Sin by Josephine Heart,Special Topics in Calamity Physics by Marisha Pessl, The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold, The Basic Eight by Daniel Handler, Kitchen by Banana Yoshimoto and anything by Fitzgerald. Francesca Lia Block will always hold a dear place in my heart from my angsty teenage years.

Favorite colors: Greys, light pinks, dark reds, cream, teal, emerald green, navy blue and royal purple.

Favorite scents: wintergreen, lemon, tangerine, cranberry and blood orange.

Favorite flowers: Poppies and Tulips

Favorite animals: Jellyfish and Sea horses

Favorite themes: Carnival (big tops, Ferris wheels etc.) 1930's film noir, 1940's French Jazz, and Burlesque.

Random stuff: Bento boxes/Bento supplies, anything from Bake It Pretty, Katamari, Hannari Tofu and Moomen.

I am a vegan, but my boyfriend is not, so if you aren't sure or accidentally send me something that I can't eat, he will happily take it off my hands :)

I enjoy trying different types of coffee and tea. Tea can be individual bags or loose.

My boyfriend loves hot sauce and mustard so if you have a local brand, it would make an awesome bonus for him.

Sewing, jewelry making, knitting and paper crafts.

I am not overly fond of Disney characters, religious themes, or rose scented items.
