Hello! I'm Anaita, 22 years old and studying at the University. I live in the big city of Bombay (Mumbai) in India. My passions are music, art, sports and travel. I love constantly making things for others and it's nice to do this for people who appreciate it's value :) I LOVE postcards! Been collecting them for a few years now.

I love rock!! Mostly classic. Beatles is my favourite band. I also love pink floyd, queen, nirvana and metallica. i enjoy some of the contemporary stuff too, like radiohead, coldplay, muse, greenday, maroon5, etc.

I like dancing to hip hop :)

i love to read! but i pick up anything that i come across. i dont have any favourite author or genre. but mainly, i guess I'm a sucker for fantasy fiction.

I love chick flicks. i can watch any amount of them! recently i really liked the art of getting by, waiting for forever and bridesmaids.

I dont know how to pick favourite movies! my favourites keep changing.

Growing up, i think my favourite movie was the sound of music.the first songs i learnt on my keyboard were from it, so it holds great memories!

I absolutely love receiving postcards. It makes me happier than anyone would think. Although i started building my collection only a couple of years back, I used to like them since I was a kid. Types of postcards that make me especially happy are:

Something unusual, non-touristy, oddly shaped or just different really please me:) I like my postcards written and stamped

I also collect bookmarks, stamps, coins, key chains and coasters. I also love interesting badges, lapel pins and broaches and wierd, odd and different match-boxes. I also preserve pictures or newspaper clippings that i find interesting.

Travelling is my passion! Though it comes at a cost and i cannot do it often. I love to collect magnets, bookmarks and little trinkets from each place that i visit.

I have an alloted shoe box for every place i have been to and sometimes, i even make scrapbooks from those things:)

Besides postcards, I'd love if someone would help add to my collection of stamps, coins(if possible), bookmarks, badges and matchboxes that I mentioned above. That would make me ecstatic! I'd love to receive some engaging, bizarre, or just usual news or picture paper cutting/clipping from your part of the world! :)

I love anything quirky.

My boyfriend is from Europe. But he found an internship in my city and he's here for a year and a half so that we can be together. He's amazing and we love each other a lot! :)

But sometimes I feel bad that he's been away from his family for so long.

So if you could send him a mail or a postcard or a little something, that would mean A LOT to me and it would make him incredibly happy!
