I am a nursing student who lives in the western north carolina mountains. I adore travelling to foreign countries and have lived in England, Malaysia, and Australia. I love crafting, reading fiction (when I'm not reading nursing textbooks!), and hanging out with my boyfriend and my black lab Anna. I enjoy all things out of doors like camping, fishing, hiking, running, or just lying around in the sun. I'm interested in learning how to quilt, but have yet to find the time.

I guess I am a mixture of very much girly girl and very much a nature lover. When I'm not camping or travelling I love to paint my nails and wear lipgloss. When I'm out in nature I let my hair down and don't mind getting dirty and rolling around in the grass a bit.

My favorite colors are: purple, pale green, any shade of blue, silver, and yellow ( I also love brown and pink together or brown and blues together)

Travel is my favorite hobby. I like postcards with stamps from foreign countries. I don't like nicknacks, but interesting items that are useful from another country I love. I find unique kitchen utensils, dishes, foods, and candy from other countries fascinating.

I love scented candles and am experimenting with making my own. My favorite scents for candles are evergreens, clean linen scents, and melon

I love bath gels (Bath and Body Works, Victoria Secret, etc.). My favorite scents are clean and fresh- grass, vanilla, citrus, herbs. I like lipglosses, eyeshadows, and shimmery things. I do not like rose and extremely floral scents. Please no face masks or other face products. I'm allergic to most

I absolutely do not like Victorian themed items with things like teapots, roses, cherubs, etc... I like more clean and modern lines. I do not like hello kitty or other cartoony things.

Foods: I really love to bake and I do some cooking. I cook mostly healthful things and eat lots of vegetables and have my own vegetable garden. When it comes to baking I think the gooier the better. My favorite food is chocolate! Any kind with anything in it! I love it! No black licorice flavored things!

Drinks: I love hot teas especially strong grean teas, black teas, and pekoes.I also like good decaf hot teas. I love flavored coffees and just plain good black coffees. I always drink my tea and coffee black- no cream or sugar.

I collect fun socks with state or country flags on them. Clothing size small

Blues, jazz, old country (Johnny Cash, Haggard, etc), pink floyd. I also love girly summer music like Blondie, the Go-Go's, 60s pop music, and 80s music Upbeat happy music that I can sing along to is always fun!

Cross stitch, scrapbooking, photography, drawing, creweling, just learning to quilt and needlepoint. I love to bake and enjoy cookie cutters, fun new dessert recipes, and any new cute baking ideas! I love all of the Martha Stewart craft things at Michael's and any fun stationary or scrapbooking things!

I love the British author Jane Green and others who write in her style (Chic lit). I like most light mystery novels and anything on the fiction bestseller lists. I read women's glamour magazines and home magazines and I love cooking books and magazines. I also like anne rice novels. I don't like romance novels or nonfiction books (I have enough of those for school)
