I love all types of music because I grew up around it.

I LOVE QUILTS - I grew up around quilts and I have very fond memories of my Grandma making quilts when I was young. I have been quilting for about 12 years but I still consider myself an amateur. I love working with colors of fabrics and designing and piecing the quilt top more than I like the actual hand quilting.

I have quite a collection of antique quilts that I have acquired from various family members, I guess you could say I am the families keeper of the quilts.

I also collect thimbles from all around the world.

I am wife, a mother of two little boys, and work part time. We just recently moved from our hometown in Ohio to Vermont and hey, cold weather is excellant for wrapping quilts around you!

As a family we like to go camping, hiking, swimming, Geocaching, NASCAR races and taking short trips just to see what Mother Nature has to offer.

I like mostly fiction books and especially love reading to my kids - we try to read every night together. I believe if they see me read - they will want to read I am always looking for great kids books.

I like browsing magazines as well such as Redbook, Good Housekeeping, Rachel Ray's magazine looking for great ideas.

Lets make this easy for you, I'd love to get chocolate, honey, coffee, natural products, non-toxic cleaning supplies, thimbles, anything to do with quilting, books, magazines, your favorite recipe, music, anything with bees on it, fabric, anything Nascar -- really I'm not picky.
