I am a college student studying to be a speech pathologist. I love crafts, cooking, reading, music and movies.
I listen to a variety of music. I'm currently really into indie folk and indie rock. I also love country, oldies, and most rock.
I like to read anything by Agatha Christy, the Harry Potter books, The Hobbit, Kite Runner, Blue Like Jazz, Rain of Gold and many more.
I love movies. Chocolat, Bend it Like Beckham, Sleepless in Seattle, The Departed, Lord of the Rings, I love most movies...epics, British romance, Foreign films, comedy and action.
I don't get a chance to watch a lot of TV but when I do I enjoy Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, October Road, and The Biggest Loser.
I love post cards and ATCs. I love ones with puns, double meanings, and that make me laugh.
Most of my favorite colors are natural earth tones (greens, browns, etc.). My most favorite color is orange.
I really like Eastern/Indian art. I enjoy most types of art except abstract. I like collecting religious art (not religion specific.)
I LOVE trees (all kinds), birds (sparrows & quails), and giraffes. I like airplanes and clouds. I love mountains. My favorite flowers are lilies; specifically Tiger Lily.
I also like baseball. (Yankees & Astros)
Gum!!! (Sugar-free)
Perfume. White chocolate. Emo stuff. Rap. Heavy Metal. Hard candy. Cats.
The only thing I want to put on this list is music. I really love all kinds of music except rap and heavy metal. So if you have any suggestions of artists or songs you really like please let me know (even if it's in another language). I'd apprecitae it.
When I was thirteen years old I was diagnosed with Juvinle Rheumatoid Arthritis. This disease took control of my body very quickly and did mayjor joint damage. I ended up having to use an electric wheel chair when I started college and eventually dropped out of school. I have had a total of 8 major surgeries with 5 joint replacements. I am extreamly proud to say that I am walking on my own and am currently going back to school. Every year I celebrate not having to use a wheelchair by entering into the Arthritis foundation walk/run. On December 6, 2008 I will be entered in my third walk and will celebrate three years of being wheelchair free!
If you would like to find out more information about arthritis please go to www.arthritis.org
Also, if you would like to donate to my fundraising goals please go to http://albuquerquejbrw.kintera.org/bionicwoman03
Any help is appreciated. If you donate please let me know so I can properly thank you!

Your Russia ATCs go postal tomorrow!
My 14 year old daughter has JRA as well, but she's one of the lucky ones. Hers is getting better as she ages. She was diagnosed at the age of 18 months with it and had difficulty walking and holding onto things for a while, but now, you'd never know it except in extreme temperatures! :)
Good luck with your walk! blessings, Gypsy
Thanks for letting me know my ATC's arrived! I'm very glad you liked them!
