Hi! I am a sahm living in rural western PA.

I have 3 children, 2 grown sons ( Sam and Will ) and a teenage daughter ( Rachael ). Actually, I should say I have 4 kids.... Will is engaged to Heather, so now she's one of my kids too.... LOL.

I am originally from this area, but lived in Pensacola, FL for almost 30 years and just moved back here a little over a year ago.

It is just Rachael and I at home. Oh, I can't forget her dog, Shadow. He's an Eskimo Spitz mix.

Rachael is 14. She has ADHD, PDD, a mood disorder and a learning disability. She is a really good kid most of the times, just has some bad times. ( Don't we all ....LOL ) She has a huge heart and loves to help others. She loves animals and hopes to some day work with animals in some way. Rachael spent her summer doing a fund raiser ( which included a bake sale and lemonade stand )/ dog walk for a local dog rescue and volunteering at our local Helping Hands/ Salvation Army.

Rachael also loves getting mail, so I am going to put some of her likes here in my profile. If anyone wants to add things for her, it would most definately put a smile on her face.

Rachael and I are both " Princesses in Training " in my neighbor's Red Hat Society group.

I mainly listen to country music, but also like some oldies and soft rock.

Rachael also likes country music and anything Miley Cyrus. She likes some other popular stuff, but I could not tell you exactly what, she listens to this with her brothers.

Well, for the last few years or so, I have been stuck on Nora Roberts/ JD Robb. I have read most of her books, I am to the point that it is hard for me to remember which ones I have and have not read. Recently, I have started reading Beverly Lewis.I enjoy reading Beverly Lewis' books because she writes about the Amish and I love learning about the Amish, as there are many Amish in this area. I really like all kinds of books by various authors.

I like most types of movies, except horror ( my one son is into horror movies and has worn me out on them ). My preference is comedy, drama or real life. My all time favorite movie would have to be Rocky Horror Picture Show. When I was a teenager, my friends and I went every weekend...LOL.

I don't watch much TV, but when I do I usually watch Ghost Whisperer, Army Wives,Grey's Anatomy , The Practice, Without A Trace, Bones, Desperate Housewives, The Cleaner, Cold Case, NCIS and House.

I do alot of crafts. Mainly knitting, painting on slate or wood, plastic canvas, etc. I am always looking for new things to do. I would love to start doing scrapbooks. I am also wanting to starting painting on glass jars.

Since I have been on Swap bot I have seen alot of things that I want to try to do, like ATCs, dotee dolls, upcycled bookmarks, pin cusions make from soda caps, altered puzzle pieces. I work better making these when I have actually seen one, if any one wants to send me any, I would love to receive them. I am also curious about wimpsy jars.

Rachael also likes to do crafts. She does plastic canvas and needlepoint. She gets really upset when she tries to knit, because she just can not get the hang of it. Lately she has been making keychains with beads and painting sun catchers.

I love to bake! I am always looking for new, different recipes to try. Right now, I am stuck on cream type pies. My family and friends are always wanting me to make my candy bar cheese cakes.... they love them... ( LOL ).

I am really getting into and loving making things with recycled items, turn items into something else useful.

My favorite colors are pink and purple ( Racahel's too )....so of course anything with those colors.

I would love to receive anything hand crafted/ homemade.

I love to send cards and postcards, so I love receiving cards, postcards and unused postage stamps ( regular and post card ).

Rachael loves anything Hannah Montana/ Miley Cyrus, LIttle Mermaid, Disney Princesses, Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers,colored pencils, markers, coloring books, beads, easy craft things,pony tail holders, hair clips and necklaces. She'd love to get post cards from all over the world.

I like receiving funny or humours cards.

I like receiving little things that my 14 yr old daughter might like, girly things.

I am a tea and pepsi drinker. I don't drink coffee, but I try to keep single serve instant here at the house for company.

The church my daughter goes to collects hats, scarfs and mittens for a mission.So anyone who wants to send me any of the items, store bought or hand made, I will give to the church and they will be greatly appreciated.

Another thing my daughter's church is doing is collecting recently used postage stamps, any denomination. The only ones they can not use are the forever stamps. They ask that when cutting off of envelopes, that you leave a 1/2" border around the stamp. I would love to receive these in swaps.

I'd love to receive a wimsy jar or container. I have never seen one and they sound very interesting.

I am really interested in making friends and meeting new people. I would love to get a few nice pen pals.

Neither Rachael or I have many dislikes, except I do not like anything musk scented.

Neither one of us has any allergies.

We will appreciate anything that we receive, an be very appreciative of the time and effort you put into making/sending it to us.

I know this is a long list of wishes, please do not feel that you must sent these things, just listing things we like, so you can get ideas of our likes.

I live in a very rural area and use a postal scale and always add an extra ounce or so when adding postage to my packages, so I am usually adding extra postage, so that this does not happen.
