New to this site, actually just discovered it. Been using the Yahoo groups for postcard swappin. So...Well lets see here.. I LOVE postcards! I have been collecting them since I was really young and have been trading them online since around 2001. I will never get tired of this and all my friends call it my "sport". Hey! I will take it! I live in the Phoenix area of Arizona with my fiance and our 2 dogs and 3 cats and have lived her for a little over 7 years now.. wow! Never thought I would be here that long! Life is good, especially with postcards! I'm a huge ocean nut, seeing as I grew up on the beaches of Southern California. I love whales and dolphins and was studying to become a Marine Biologist before moving to Arizona. I miss the ocean with all my heart!
I love anything non fiction and historical or about forgein countries. I also try to read a lot of the most current popular books just to know what everyone is talking about!
I am a huge fan of all of the Disney and Pixar movies! Favorites would be Cars, Lion King, Up, Little Mermaid and Aladdin. Cant think of a single cartoon movie that I didnt enjoy. I'm a big kid when it comes to that! But I also like the Lord of the Rings movies, the Pirates of the Caribean movies, Titanic, Smoking Aces and others that fall into those categories :)
I prefer my postcards new, in an envelope but the occasional postmarked card is nice too! Especially if the swap is only one card, I prefer it postmarked with a little note written about either yourself or the scene on the postcard. I love skyline/city views, beaches, amusement parks, aquariums, stadiums and tourist areas :) I currently have postcards from every state and about 60 different countries but my collection is no where near being done.
I dont get to watch much TV between work and school but I love the Travel Channel and the Discovery Channel!

Hi!!
I saw that you swap postcards on yahoo groups! How do you go about doing that? I tried lol but it got really confusing and I only seemed to find groups that were old/ inactive/ or full of spam.
Welcome to Swap-bot!
