March 10, 2009- I quit! I will send out my remaining swaps then withdraw from this community. Between partners who renege and partners who are dis-satisfied with my efforts I am through.
I will continue my search for artists who do not judge by numbers or medium but by feelings.
Knitting, ATC's, Zines, photography, scrapbooking
I do most of my stuff on the computer and that has been causing a few misunderstandings. I created an entry on my blog I would like to draw questioners to so that they can understand what it takes to make my ATC's look like a picture I just cut out & mailed.
Likes: Anything that is a jewel color. I also like the basic 8 like in the Crayola box. My favorite colours are Red, Purple and Black. Combo's of Red and black, green and red and red & purple are cool.
Learning new crafts or discovering old ones. Recently I've purchased some embroidery projects and some quilting projects.
Books especially Sci/fi_fantasy, knitting & journaling ones
Thrift store items- but please no more stationary I have more lists and notepads then I can possibly use in the next 3 years. Journals are ok though
I collect angels and ATC's.
I like roses, lilacs, cats, fairies, dragons, Christmas, Spring, Fall, Halloween and Easter.
I like Asian. Oriental, and Irish icons and images, well done sepia and Black & white prints. Actually any images I could use for making paper ATC's or art journal pages would be welcome just not scrap papers (I have tons and tons)
I like herbal teas. My favorite being Chai (five spice). I like lemon when I'm sick and peppermint for my tummy and others just because they smell so good.
The scents Vanilla, Lilac, Lavender & Rose.
Dislikes: I do not wear jewelry or makeup. I will accept them but be aware that they will be re-gifted
I do not like neons or pastels.
I like 50,s, 60's and 70's music mainly and have a real weakness for female artist like Alanis Morrisette and Cher. Yes my taste is really that varied. If it has a beat that makes me want to move or a message I need to hear then it's acceptable. I also like the mix created by classical music or pan pipes and nature sounds. Especially those created by Dan Gibson and Sukay. Oh yeah and Shakira rocks. I am gaining an appreciation for electronic music as well it's good for outside work.
Give me something with wizards, fairy's, werewolves or vampires or alternate realities in it and I'm into it. Anne Macaffrey, Piers Anthony and other like them are my favorite reads. In non-fiction anything that will teach me a new skill is welcome
Practical Magic, Nightmare before Christmas in fact anything animated except for South Park. Some of the Star Treks. I also like Pirates of the Caribbean and Terminator. Lots of others.
I mainly watch Stargate Atlantis, NCIS, Fringe, Heros, Sanctuary, CSI
ATC's made from unique materials or using unique media.
Angels- an angel for my collection will automatically gain you a heart
Alphabet and word (not the ones for students) sets (stickers, rub-ons)
Dolls, bears or other types of stuffed toys. I'm partial to spiders, cats and bats but not snakes. I would love a Santa doll or three.
Aprons size large. Market bags(sewn, knit or crochet)
Seasonal outfits for my teddys (12", 10" and 6")
Seasonal items for my front porch display
Slipper socks the old fashioned kind with a double sole. I think they might be an older version of bedsocks. I just know that with the double sole I can wear them like they were slippers.
Amiguri Pattern for a knitter or just an amiguri so I can see how it's put together
Natural knitting thread/wool. They are so expensive but I would like to try a silk or a bamboo or something that is feltable. Right now I have mainly acylics and a few cheap cottons
Knitting magazines, stitch markers, needles(I have one set of DPN and would really like a few more). Other knitting tools and instructions on how to use them :) I am a beginner.
First Nations (natives) crafts such a dream catchers, moccasins, spiritual art.
Handmade anything. Especially fond of head/hair bands and accessories.
I like to give gifts and have a number of children on my Gift list as well as a few adults. If you can help me out a few of their interests are below:

In my husbands family are both his parents, a sister with 3 children (ages 9 boy, 7 boy, & 5 girl). Two brothers and one SIL. I am not sure their ages but my husband is 41 and they are all younger.
And Rowan's parents who are our best friends.
As you can see I have a large gift list and though for the children I try to get things for their birthdays the adults only get Christmas gifts. I thank you for reading this far and if you want to help this fond aunt out all help is gratefully received. If you can't think of anything for me something for them will be rewarded as if it were for me.
