**I don't think I will be continuing on Swap-Bot. I have sent all the swaps I signed up for. I will be checking in periodically to rate swaps I have received and make sure my international swaps have been delivered. Please feel free to contact me if you have a question or concern.
I will leave my groups once all swaps are accounted for. Thank You!**
I have a house full of critters. I am very sorry to say we lost our last Standard Poodle in January of this year. We still have my "heart" dog, a Curly Coated Retriever named Rufus, as well as my oldest daughter's retired dock-diving Boykin Spaniel. We also have my son's Heinz 57 and recently added a Rat Terrier puppy, Lola. She is reminding me why we quit fostering puppies all those years ago! Add to that a pair of elderly guinea pigs from long-forgotten 4-H projects, and we stay busy loving on all our fuzzy butts.
I work in the emergency room at a local hospital. I do registration and act as a point of contact during my shift. I came to this after walking out on my career as a business manager of almost twenty years. Please know that sometimes being happy really is more important than the paycheck. :-)
I am a long-time diabetic that completely controls with a high-fiber vegan diet. It is good for the environment and for my body!
I am interested in the simple swaps. Postcards, stickers, paper odds and ends. I love to make and decorate my own envelopes. I have always tried to read profiles and send folks things I think they would like, but I also do not keep tons of supplies on hand. Except for postcards. I have thousands of those! I don't collect any one type. Honestly I enjoy them all!
I do not care for Washi tape. I do love, love, love postcards. I like small stickers. I don't collect postage stamps but often use "themed stamps" on my envelopes. No glitter or confetti, please. I like paper ephemera. Die-cuts. Bits of lace. Just please no Washi tape samples!
I also like rubber stamps. I don't use them often but do enjoy dabbling with them.
I know I don't have an extensive like/dislike list on my profile. I have found that I like the variety that comes when people don't have anything specific in their minds. I ENJOY the crazy little pieces of art you might make. I have NEVER found a postcard that offended me. Bodies are beautiful, politics are interesting, and religion is just one more thing I can learn about. I LOVE the odds and ends you find to send me. And if you send something that doesn't suit me...I am not going to rate down or be angry. I am just going to swap it on when I can!
You can always contact me about my swaps. I am reliable and careful to not get in over my head, so I would appreciate being contacted if you feel the need to give me a bad rating. I really am a nice person!
Thank you so much, and happy swapping!
My mailing address is a small post office box. I don't typically participate in package-type swaps but if you should need to send something larger, please message me and I will provide you with my street address.
My mail is sent out of a small town. It goes to Cleveland to be postmarked and processed. For this reason, postmarks can be deceiving if they actually make it on to the mail. (I have found my postcards are often postmarked on the picture side of the card.) I do the best I can with what I have. :-)
