Quick note: Please do not send any perfumed or strongly scented items, including stick and cone type incense. I've recently begin getting headaches from these items. Herbs, flowers and other natural scents are fine. Thank you!!
I like sewing, painting and crafting in general. I love to travel and experiencing new places, foods, cultures and people.
My other hobbies include hiking, camping, volunteering at a local Shakespearean theatre, cooking, and spending time with my family, friends and my pets.
My favorite colors are green and black, but love all colors except neon.
I love fashion, shoes, makeup and nail polish. I also love the outdoors, nature, and animals too. I have worked in primatology and veterinary medicine.
Only pagan religious items please.
Sewing, painting (acrylics), jewelry making, some scrapbooking/smashbooking, found object art. I'm not sure if it's considered a craft, per se, but I love collecting found nature items. Rocks, feathers, moss, bits of sticks, leaves, shells, anything that captures my eye. If you see something you want to include for a swap for me, I would love that!
Jane Austen is my favorite author, but I also like reading paranormal fantasy, mysteries, and non fiction books on travel, science and zoology. Some of my other favorite authors include A. Lee Martinez, Charles Dickens, MC Beaton, Elly Griffiths, and Shakespeare.
I have recently started a doll house in a witch in the woods theme. I am new to this so learning as I go along.
I have recently become a vegetarian (been coming for a long time), so please do not send any food with eggs or meat. I also do not drink alcohol due to several medical conditions and the medications I take to treat them.
I prefer handmade or natural items over store bought items. Vintage, Bohemian, Irish, Scottish, British and Celtic Items, Foreign language items, Beads and Charms, Rubber stamps, Fairy/Goddess , Art Nouveau (Mucha & Toulouse-Lautrec), Art Deco, Anthropology/Charles Darwin, Primatology (Gorillas are my favorite, but love all primates); Animals but specifically crows/raven, bats, cats, dogs, sharks, snakes, spiders and hedgehogs: (prefer more realistic depictions opposed to cartoonish) Winnie the Pooh (EH Shepard, not so much Disney) Sugar skulls and things slightly creepy :), Nature items Found objects and art made from them Personal style in art and decorative items is eclectic
Country, Anything too bright, garish or cartoonish, Americana, Anime, Religious items (besides pagan), Anything too cutesy or Holly Hobby/Mary Englebright
Goddess: The Morrighan mostly, but also Hekate, Diana, Brigid, Gaia, and Emer God: I work exclusively with the Horned God. Most specifically Cernnunos, but also Herne, The Green Man (Oak King/Holly King), and Pan. I work a lot with The Fey and Elements/Elementals and the pentacle and triple spiral symbols. I like all herbs and essential oils, but tend to steer away from Patchouli. It evokes memories of dirty hippies. ;) I work a lot with herbs, my favorites being oak moss, mugwort, and lavender. The animals I work with include the doe, crows/ravens/magpies/red-winged blackbird, and dragons. I resonate most with the Celtic mythology.
If I receive your swap, I will always rate you. So if you think you should have received a rating by me, please send me a message and make sure I did, in fact, get your package. I also always send my swaps. I will message you if I don't hear anything, but usually try to wait about 2 weeks before I will message on Swapbot first, then your email if I haven't heard back. Please let me know if you didn't get it and I have no issues resending. I really do put effort and energy into all the things I make for someone, so I want to make sure you receive it :)
