Hello there! My name is Sarah. I'm a 30 year old spunky, wild hearted girl and I live near wonderful Portland, Oregon.
I'm terrible at making cohesive "about me" paragraphs, so I'll list some facts about myselfรฐลธหล
*Proud big sister to an amazing little sister
*I'm a die hard city girl
*HUGE 90s kid
*I would marry Brian Fallon in a heartbeat
*Concerts are my happy place
*Horror movies, hands down.
*It's a HUGE dream to explore abandoned places
*I wish Vincent Price and I were best friends
*I'm wildly in love with ancient Egypt, mummies and archaeology
*I would paint everything in my house mint
*I wish everything was caramel flavored
*"Old soul" has been used to describe me a lot
*There's nothing better than a zombie movie or novel
*I'm pretty obsessed with journals.
That's me in a nut shell, folks!
Im SUCH a huge fan of old horror films! Im not talking 2005 old, I mean 1920's-1990's old. When they were more than blood and guts, they were actually suspenseful and mysterious! I do love a good slasher film though :P
There are two movies that, hands down, own my heart and soul. Night of the Living Dead and The Crow. Nothing is more perfect to me รฐลธหย
I'm also a fan of classic Hollywood films like An Affair to Remember, Some Like it Hot, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, thanks to my grandma haha.
I could go on forever about music. Going to concerts is my passion. My favorite band is Gaslight Anthem, Brian Fallon is a genius ๐ My heart also belongs to older punk, like Jawbreaker, Social Distortion, Ramones, Rancid, Agent Orange, etc. I pretty much love punk in general though. I've had the pleasure of seeing Senses Fail, Citizen, Balance and Composure, and SO many more. I'm also crazy about blues and soul. You can't keep me away from Jackie Wilson, Sam Cooke, and Wilson Picket.
LOVES: Stuff like washi, acetate and vellum pieces, pockets, journal cards, stickers, cute sticky notes and page flags, shipping tags, random instax photos you've taken, alpha stickers, touristy stuff, clear stamps, etc.
DISLIKES: I'm not so into planning stuff, pretty much because I don't plan. So please, no To Do type things. No receipts, train tickets, random small papers, charms, etc.
In pretty addicted to washi, just like most of us here. I really can't get enough, no matter what I've been told ๐ I love checking if I have any themes my partner likes, so here's a list of my favorite themes too!
LIKES: Vintage, Tim Holtz, travel/postmark, cacti/succulent, floral, unicorn, mermaid, pineapple, flamingos, owls/birds, fox, marine creatures, nautical, rose gold/foil, boho, mint, Halloween, feathers, arrows, gold, botanical, woodland
NOT SO MUCH: I'm not super picky about washi, but some don't make me super happy. They include chevron patterns, red, green, most polka dots, glitter, most holiday, most hearts.
Vintage photos/cabinet cards. I'd love you forever, literally.
