I live between Portland and Rockaway Beach, Oregon. I used to participate in many swaps but then opened a restaurant and bar and that consumed my life. After the decision to retire early and close the restaurant I now have time to create again. I have a wonderful 576 square foot art and craft studio in Portland.

I haven't met a craft I don't like but some of my main interests include:

Fabric and fiber art, using vintage, recycled, repurposed fabrics, trims, buttons and embellishments.

Jewelry, lovely earrings, necklaces, retro and vintage styles.

Card making with all sorts of inking, stamping, and embellishing.

Knitting, socks, and sweaters. I've recently discovered stranded colorwork. I also crochet blankets.

Sewing goes along with fabric art. I make tote bags and pouches.

Metalsmithing is my latest interest and I look forward to learning more and creating some beautiful jewelry.

I haven't watched much television in the last 9 years but have now discovered Netflix and am getting caught up. Really enjoyed Ozark and Schitt's Creek. I'll watch just about anything while I'm knitting or crocheting.

Travel is high on my list now that I am retired. I have a long list of places I want to visit.
