Hi, I'm Alexis! I live, work and play in Washington state. I’m twenty one years old (Finally!) and I’m currently on my path to becoming an early elementary teacher. I’m going on my third year of working in a bookstore. Love it because it feeds into my book addiction! I also love to use “!!!� marks a lot. It’s fun that way. If I could, I’d live in a thrift store. I’m obsessed with scripted drama. I’m inspired by the inspiring. I'm also a huge perfectionist, can't you tell?

Photography is one of my favorite things in the world. I love all types but my favorite is black & white film. I have my own darkroom in the garage that I work in constantly.

Graphic Design is another thing I love doing. I use Paint Shop Pro (cause it's cheap!). I love playing with contrast and colors to make things.

Collage is another thing I've been into for a while. I'm starting to work more with magazines and my own photographs to create little pieces of art.

Reading is one thing I can't live without. Working at bookstore is great because I can always sneak off and read in a corner!

I love the element of surprise! But a lot of people keep asking me what I love to receive. Here are a few ideas:

Postcards of any type of image, cutouts from magazines or other so I can collage with them, bookmarks, anything that has to do with birds, old cameras, thrift store goodies, stickers, note cards, photography, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, pens & pencils, post-its, books.

Like I said above, reading is what gets me through the days. Some of my all time favorites are:
