I love receiving Christmas cards before Christmas time. It gets me in the wintery mood. So I would be super happy if you could include a seasonal greeting card/PC even in November :)

I'm an ordinary 21-year-old girl from the centre of Poland, Lodz. I've been living here all my life but tried to travel as much as I could. I'm interested in other cultures, life-styles and ways of spending free time. I want to see as many places as possible in my life but since it's pretty expensive and time-consuming I want to get to know the world by mailing. I love the idea of postcrossing and recently I've learnt about swap-bot. I'm a bit sentimental and romantic but I'm usually not that open about it. I like to pretend I am tough :) Basically, I enjoy my life by being a hopelessly optimistic person. I believe in people, that they are good by nature so I want to meet all of them and make them happy if they're not! Music is important to me, too. I play the ukulele, I like singing and getting to know new bands, singers. My favourites are Jack Johnson and Beirut. What else? I study English at the University in my city and I'm preparing to be an English teacher for primary school children (though I'm looking for my true calling).

I'm a big movie fan. My favourite kind of films is not actually a real kind- I adore warm movies, ones that make me tingly inside. Elizabethtown, My blueberry nights, Juno, Once, Adam, Amelie are the movies I can watch thousand times and I always find them so positive. I like crying on movies, absorbing every feeling of the character. I also enjoy weird films, like The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Yeah, basically I do like musicals, especially the old ones.

Recently, I've started creating my own map of the States. I'd appreciate it A LOT if you could send me a simple postcard with a map of any state (so far my collection is rather poor. I only have California, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Florida, South Dakota, Louisiana, Wisconsin, Vermont, Maine, Alaska and Missouri).

I like having my mailbox filled with mail; when I'm out all day I like coming back with a thought there is something waiting for me. Postcards with one view from your city/country or with the name of the state you live in (I'm collecting postcards from the States) are my favourites. But I enjoy card with superheros, jokes, food, tea, maps, cupcakes, warm pictures as well. Since I study English, I read many English books (British and American) so I would enjoy postcards with Penguin Readers covers. I also collect organic bags from all over the world.

If you don't know what to write, feel free to tell me about your life style, yourself, your thoughts about the world, secrets, family. I would also appreciate recipes (for cupcakes especially). I'm a tea fan and since a tea bag does not weigh that much it would be nice to get some exotic/ traditional/ regular flavors :) Actually the truth is, I like eating so I would love to receive everything connected to food.

Also: kitchen towels, souvenirs from your country, stationary, photos, Christmas ornaments, socks, notebooks, lip balms (I'm a Carmex addict), natural sponges (I'd bought one when I was in Greece but I've lost it somewhere; they don't weight much, right?) ;)

If you're creative (and I bet you are since you are on swap-bot) it would be nice to receive home-made postcards and letters written on some creative stationary. But the truth is I am not picky and I enjoy everything I find in my mailbox! :)

I'd like to read 'Make the most of your time on Earth' and other similar motivational books. Unfortunately, I cannot find any in Poland but I don't mind reading books in English. So if you have this book at house and you dont read it anymore, maybe we could set a private swap? :)

I love food. I'm skinny and short so that allows me to eat whenever and whatever I want to. I always appreciate a small extra of a candy/chocolate from your country. Everything that is super sweet is usually super good. Especially if it contains peanut butter and chocolate! That's why I especially love American candy. My favourites are Reese's, different kinds of M&Ms and Butterfingers :) And of course tea! It doesn't weight much but it gives me at least 30 min of a good mood. I'm not really a fan of green tea (I'm not a fan of healthiness) though I do drink it sometimes, to wake up.
