About Me

I love making things! I try to add color and design to every area of my life. I live and breathe art every day. I especially love the art and design from the 1950's & 60's and the art of Andy Warhol, James Rosenquist, Roy Lichtenstein, and Edward Hopper. I also love American documentary photography, especially the photos of Walker Evans and Garry Winogrand.

I love the Northwest and the Northeastern United States, where I've spent nearly equal parts of my life.

I reside in lovely Montclair NJ with my boyfriend and our 2 kitties.

Sorry to rate so late - I thought I already had because in my head I had told you that I'd always attributed that quotation to Liza Minnelli! In fact, I think she said it on Inside the Actors Studio , but maybe I missed her crediting her mum. :)

Comment: I made felt ornaments, too, and really appreciate the time and effort you put in. I have a funny little old fashioned tree that sports many handmade Danish (my sweetheart is a Dane, born and bred) ornaments, and this one fits RIGHT in there.
