Please give it time if after a month of my indicated sent date [for swaps and tags] message me before leaving any nasty comment on my profile or giving me a negative rating. Chances are they have gotten lost prolly somewhere in the Pacific lol. As a last resort I am willing to resend.

Postal Note

• Envies from the Philippines to the US takes 2 business weeks to arrive.

• Envies from the Philippines to Europe takes 2 business weeks to approximately 20 business days to arrive.

• To my swap partners: please send your envies in the cheapest way possible, it might take time but I am patient and claiming the parcels from the customs office not only eat up my time but could also cause a rather large dent on my wallet.

• I was told that so long as there's a green customs form attached to it no matter how small they are they would get stuck at customs [1st in Manila and 2nd in Cebu]. So that's another 2 to 3 weeks delay than usual.

• Postmark dates on my envies are the dates they arrive in Manila, not the date I mailed them, all mails go through the main post office in Manila for shipping and I live in Cebu.

• For My Tags: They are sent as indicated on my tags list at the bottom.

• For My Swaps: I rate them as soon as they arrive, if I have not rated you then that means I have not received your swap yet.

I am open to hosting private swaps especially with newbies to help them get their ratings and establish their credibility here on swap-bot; I was once a newbie myself and I didn't like the "pain" of being unable to join certain swaps and on being banned on some though that was my fault really didn't see the NO NEWBIE ALLOWED sign at the bottom of the swap page lol.

Hi everyone! I'm Rowena, call me Weng for short. Am an only child born and raised here in Cebu by a single mom. I have been living on my own since she died last December 2007. I finished Bachelors of Elementary Education, licensed to teach elementary school children but at the moment I am working full time as a "human switchboard" for one of the call centers here while studying full time for my Masters degree in special education major in hearing impairment. I have always been fascinated with stationeries and penpalling since I was little, I started penpalling when I was about 15, went hiatus during the college years but got back early this year. I love making and swapping fb's as well as label bags.

But I have never celebrated my birthday, I grew up being taught that my birthday is just like any other day on the calendar. I've never blown any candle on any cake like everybody else, birthday gifts were foreign to me up till I was a teenager and friends made me handmade stuff as gifts. So if you look at my pictures you'll never find a tiny me in a party dress with a party hat .... that was just not common in our household. That even till now I get amazed when I received a gift even a birthday card.

Halloween is recognized here but not celebrated the same way in the US. We don't go trick or treats and halloween stuff [stickers, stationaries and what not are not common here, they exist but very hard to find].

My friends think of me as an emo,rock,gothic chick when my earphones on then don't expect to have a care about my surroundings, I get lost in my own little bubble. lol. Currently have a whopping 60 GB of music files on my hard drive, I bring 32gig with me on my iPod Touch. My bookshelf is ever increasing and being the introvert that I am, I prefer to curl up on the couch with a good book than go out and get wasted somewhere on a Friday night. I love to read, plain and simple. My obsession right now to is to complete the entire Sweet Valley Collection from Sweet Valley Kids all the way to University (imagine what that part of my bookshelf already look like); am nowhere near completing it but it's safe to say am almost halfway. Am a fan of the Harry Potter, Twilight and Shopaholic series. The first set of books I finished reading at an early age say around 11 or 12 was the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice (am a fan of the mystical, mythical and gothic). All time fave books though would be The Solitaire Mystery by Jostein Gaardner, Phantom by Susan Kaye, An Ocean Apart by Robin Pilcher and Good In Bed by Jennifer Weiner.

Just finished The Time Traveller's Wife a month ago and has not been able to start reading since. Am thinking of getting a headstart with "Dance Dance" by Haruki Murakami.

I did mention am an only child but I do have a little girl I consider to be my own sister, I took care of her studies and buy all her school things. Her name's Jenny and she's my neighbor's little girl, her mom and my mom were tight friends and she has sort of become my unofficial adopted little sister her house is right next to mine and she spends most of her waking moments at my house [that is if she's not in school] opening my mails, helping out with my swaps as she loves sealing up those envies. When the postman arrives and she sees him coming, she'd come running his way and would take all my mails and head straight to my room where she'd open my mails one by one. If there's a sticker that has a double she'd ask if she could have them then since chocolates are a big NO NO for me, she'd ask if she could have them. She's 9 and is one pretty girly girl.

She has grown to like the things I like which means she loves everything pink!
