I am a professional writer and Web developer. I have written two books on the Internet and Web design that almost no one other than my mom has read. :-)
I love to read, mostly Science Fiction, but some urban fantasy. I also read mysteries (I love Dick Francis novels when I'm on an airplane.) and I end up reading most books on the best seller list, when recommended by friends. I have been known to read economics text books and cereal boxes when there's nothing else around to read.
I also love to travel. I have lived in Australia and Uzbekistan as well as the United States. I would like to visit all of the 50 states - and ride rollercoasters while I'm there. I currently live in a (good) roller coaster-free zone - the Pacific Northwest. (We have a coaster, but it's sad.)
I love to ride my horse.
I love to spend time with my husband and son.
And authors...
"The time has come, the walrus said, to speak of many things. Of shoes and ships and ceiling wax, of cabbages and kings."
--from Alice in Wonderland
"All cats are black after midnight"
--Robert A. Heinlein
We don't really have TV, so most of what I get is on Netflix a year or tow after it comes out. That said, I love:
I love post cards of all kinds. I prefer ones that show where you live, but any card that you like I will probably like. Even ad cards can be fun if you write something interesting on the back.
I appreciate any comments people make about my swaps. I am always looking to improve myself, my art, and my writing, so all constructive comments are appreciated.
I will also try very hard to give positive and constructive feedback to anyone who sends something to me.
Comments
I just remembered that I forgot to put the swap name in the postcard I sent you, so when you get a postcard from Unska, it's from Quick Ad Card Swap -swap. Sorry for the inconveniece!
