just living my life one day at a time in a tiny lakefront community in central upstate new york just 20 minutes from the national baseball hall of fame....if that doesn't click with you, then I am one hour west of NY's capital of Albany and three hours north-west of NYC.

anything stephen king, christine de pisan, terry brooks, stephanie meyer...and of course any art history book...especially on northern renaissance art. some day I'll go to Italy... the home of renaissance art (no, not Rome, NY of which I am 45-minutes away from).

Art...my favorite mediums are acrylic paint, etching, scrapbooking, jewelry arts, paper and fabric arts, crocheting, needle felt sculpturing.... I am currently enjoying dotee dolls and polymer clay sculpting. I just love making them as I can start and finish in one sitting. I love taking photographs, I almost always have a camera with me.

I don't (can't) have children... My partner and I have a dog and a cat....Unah and Tigger.

I am mixed of Irish, English, Dutch and Sioux heritages. I love researching the genealogy of my family and of others, I am a member of DAR.

I journal in my scrapbooks A LOT!.....I take lots of photos and I like to tell their stories. I love to draw and paint, however my muse likes to play hide and seek.......

I forget where I learned about swap-bot... but it sounded like so much fun that I had to join.... I used to play on 2peas, however there was a big dramafest and I stopped following along.... I have enough of my own life drama...who needs it virtually too....I just wanna make things, send them to people and open my own mailbox and find stuff!! kimberley186......

Colors..... green... orange... honestly I like all colors. I wear earth-tone colors because my hair is dark red and I have pale skin and freckles so I tend to clash or wash out with many colors.

Flowers.... I love flowers, daisies and forget-me-nots and pansies and lilies and geraniums. I like watching things grow, I enjoy my flower and vegetable gardens every year, they aren't huge, just right for our use. I plant tomato, cucumber, pepper, broccoli, cauliflower and yellow & green bean...and potato. Every couple of years I plant cantelope and watermelon.

Music.... I like lots of music. NOT Country. I may live in the country but I don't like the music. I can tolerate some artists and some of their music, Terry Clark, Dierks Bentley, Kenny Chesney, Billy Currington.... I prefer Lykke Li, Joss Stone, Maroon 5, The White Stripes, Eminem, Simple Plan....and of course dance music if it has a good beat I'll like it.

The little extras.... I do not expect little extras in the swap packages you send, while I will try to find a little something to add to your package, I don't expect the same from others. However, I think posting our likes and dislikes are important for those of us who like to add something and not send something that won't be appreciated. Therefore, if you want to send little extras, I like things I can use in projects, such as beads and buttons and lace and ribbons.....fabric squares of unique colors and designs (please nothing kiddie unless it's of monkeys.. I love monkeys) I like steampunk parts and pieces, funky little found things like an odd tiny doll shoe or miniature tea cups. I collect thimbles and unique journals of all sizes.

As I mentioned before I have very sensitive pale skin so please no lotions, makeup or perfumes. Please don't send something that may hurt your project, like candy or candles as the most important thing you are sending is your very own artwork creation!
