UPDATE (June 16, 2011) Well, studying Chinese has basically taken over my life, so I am on hiatus from Swap-bot for the foreseeable future

I'm Kate, recent college grad, sorta artist and mediocre ninja. I have a feline child named Mowgli. I want to get my phd in Chinese military history.

Crafts: rubber stamp carving, printmaking, doodling, digital collage, small cross stitches, getting into bookbinding, mail art, art journaling and mixed media. I want to make art a central part of my life and a healthy coping mechanism. :)

Fairytales: Grimm, not Disney! My favorites are juniper tree (my mother killed me, my father ate me), beauty and the beast, bluebeard, little red riding hood types. My favorite tales are "The Juniper Tree" by the Grimms and "The Tiger's Bride" by Angela Carter.

TV: (Old episodes, I don't own a TV) Mythbusters, Star Trek TOS, Jonny Quest;

I'm lactose-intolerant.
