I've been offline for a while to cope with some health issues and am slowly getting back into the swing of things. I join only a limited number of swaps at any given time. I don't spend a lot of time online; I prefer to spend my time making art.
I'm a scissors/paper/glue addict with a beaded monkey on my back. When I'm not slaving away in the high-tech, high-pressure world of online marketing, my hobbies include altering books, making ATCs, writing, reading, swimming, tending cats. I have been participating in mail art exchanges for more than 25 years. (Boy, I'm old!)
altered books, ATCs, assemblage shrines, hand-bound books, collage, paper quilts, photography, digital image manipulation, sewing
www.damonbuxton.com, richard thompson, bob dylan, 80s pop, 70s and 80s punk, jazz, new age, acoustic guitar
Harry Potter series, His Dark Materials, To Kill a Mockingbird, Good Omens, trashy thrillers and mysteries with animals (e.g., Rita Mae Brown) are my guilty pleasures
Dexter, House, CSI, Numb3rs, Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, Good Eats, The Soup
The Usual Suspects, American Beauty, Roxanne, LA Story, Shop Girl, Benny & Joon, The Bourne franchise

Seattle, New York City, Pittsburgh, Tuscany, any beach in the world, my studio, college and university campuses, lush (even overgrown) gardens

Hmmm...so what's next, Lilymarlowe? Spirit houses, mini triptychs...and...
Thanks for joining the stars ATC and a surprise swap!
I just wanted to let you know I'm hosting round two of the starry ATC and a surprise swap! Check it out!
I've also started a celestial freaks group. Feel free to join if you'd like!
Lily, a simple "thank you" isn't nearly enough to thank you for my much-adored "House, MD" shrine!! Even my husband and son (who are pretty blase about my swapping addiction) were amazed and impressed!! I can only hope to put a smile on the face of my swap partners like you did for me with this treasure! What a fabulous, thoughtful, & caring swapper you are! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! MUAH
