I love to give and receive handmade things, embroidery/redwork, quilting (machine applique, piecing and quilting, grandmother's flower garden), tote bags, rubber stamping/cardmaking, wool and wool felt, crafts, as well as baking cupcakes and yummy desserts. I love to see what everyone else is making, get lots of great ideas for new things to try.
My favorite holiday is Halloween, but I also like to make crafts for Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter, 4th of July, etc.
All kinds of stuff, Dexter, Lost, Project Runway, Top Chef, American Idol, anything where they have crafty challenges.
Embroidery/redwork, felt food and critters, rubber stamping/cardmaking, quilting/sewing, baking... Love trying new things or anything that's a challenge.
Brights (eg Strawberry Lemonade, Butterfly Fling, but any bright spots and dots and prints), batiks, Moda Swell or other 1930s reproduction fabrics, soft cottage pastels, holidays, sock monkeys, lean more towards whimsical than serious. Designers include Michael Miller, Me and My Sister, Bunny Hill, Artisan Batiks by Lunn Studios(Robert Kaufman), Funky Monkey, Dick and Jane. Love charm squares and jelly rolls (though they take forever to use up!) and FQs are always fun.
Not a fan of Civil War, Thimbleberries, dark fabrics
Whimsical, silly, beachy, fun. Sock monkeys rule! Not stuffy, serious or anal-retentive about anything.
Re-Ment. Amigurumi, felt cute/ugly creatures/food, polymer clay charms or creatures, ATCs, inchies, or whatever craft you enjoy making, hand made or store bought kits and/or instructions to make new crafts. If you send a craft, I'd love it if you share how to make it.
Please no food items, especially sweets or melty things.
No strong scents or incense. No lotion.
No Civil War, Thimbleberries, dark fabrics

Thanks for angeling the embroidered greeting card swap! It's just lovely.
Thankyou so much for taking the trouble to look up the softie information I needed. I am so grateful.
Thank you so much for the huge packet of goodies - items from Peru that I can use with homeschooling my daughters, the cute Mary Engelbreit cross-stitch kits, the lion cross-stitch pattern (I'm going to make this for Olivia's Christmas gift), handmade necklaces for my daughters, and Japanese craft patterns.
The package really lifted my spirits since I'm dealing with my dad's diagnosis of significant memory loss (all signs are pointing to Alzheimer's Disease).
It has been a challenging and emotionally-draining month, and receiving such a wonderful package in the mail like this was much-needed and greatly appreciated. Thank you!
thank you sooo much for that awsome package! I think my dad is jealous of my stack of silly putty now :) .
Thank you SO much for the wonderful fabric postcard surprise that landed in my mailbox. That is truly Mail Art!
