I am a 69 year old wife/mother/grandmother and am retired. I live with my husband in a small two bedroom bungalow. I love - my family, my garden, pretty china, vintage fabrics, notecards, scented candles, Spring, Christmas trees, stars, witches, anything floral, angels, soft centred chocs., and anything related to all the above. I am heavily into Family Research at the moment. Hate: Spiders, Dark brown colour, erotic or risque things. Dislike: coffee, spicy foods (except ginger and cinnamon), slimy things. Fave. colours, all blues, yellow, cream, soft greens but also deep,rich reds/golds. Fave. scents: lavender, vanilla, cinnamon, cloves.

Mozart. Christmas carols. Classical guitar. Some musicals, Matt Monro. Bits and pieces of all sorts,really.Things that I can sing along with. Do not like modern pop groups/music.

Amadeus, E.T., The Great Escape,(maybe Steve McQueen will get over the barbed wire one day!)The Third Man. Joseph.....Dreamcoat. Sixth Sense. Very rarely get to the cinema.

Not a great t.v. fan - but have a few favourites. New Tricks, spooky films, house-hunting shows. The Last Detective. Sun, Sea and Bargain Spotting. Loved Cold Feet and Life on Mars.

Patchwork, love dabbling in all sorts. Cord-making, tassel-making, making simple fabric bags, knitting simple things. I love threads, buttons, beads and pretty fabric, little bags/boxes, things to embellish crazy patchwork. Like to try allsorts. Anything Amish.Vintage bits & pieces for crafts.Love the French Provencal fabrics.

Favourite authors include: Donna Leon, Faye and Jonathan Kellerman, Jodi Picoult, Lynda La Plante. One of my very favourite books is "The House on the Strand" by Daphne du Maurier. I also love the illustrations of Peter H. Reynolds, the American author. Joanne Harris. Adriana Trigiani. Am a compulsive reader.
