I live in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with my boyfriend and a rescue cat named Pancakes.
I love to travel. But what I love more than traveling is my job, so I live vicariously through Pinterest for the most part of the year. Sending and receiving mail from all corners of the world would be a fun way to travel from my desk!
My current interest includes traveler's notebooks. But really, mine is less of a travel diary and more of a daily work planner. I am, however, currently obsessed with the myriad of washi tapes, cards, papers, and wee things there are that I can use to dress up my notebook.
I love to purchase washi samples to figure out which designer washi brands I prefer, which is why I always have more samples on hand than I have rolls (it also helps me save space this way). Currently, I'm very much into watercolour illustrated washi tapes. Look forward to those in your packages!
I love working with found items, as long as they're in great condition. Re-using packing, harvesting clippings from old magazines and books, taking ribbons and string from xmas parcels and incorporating them into my crafts is something I always enjoy.
Thought I might as well add an image of my first Swap-Bot swaps. Loved these and am looking forward to mailing out more.
I don't usually like to set limitations on things I receive but I do understand that it makes it easier to swap.
To begin, please note that I would prefer not to receive religious mail. The following are things I would prefer not to receive: anything with snails on it (deathly, deathly afraid of them), used postage stamps, and instant coffee sachets.
I wish I'd bothered to take a photo of the first few swaps I made! Until I bother to start an Instagram profile or blog, here's what I'm working on mailing out right now:
Some postcards I decorated to be sent out soon! I'm having much too much fun with washi tape.
More happy mail! This card was mailed out today and I had too much fun making it.
I will be mailing my swaps via Post Malaysia's international air mail. It does take some time but more often than not will arrive at it's destination (eventually). Often, it takes a month or so. Sometimes a little longer because of customs.
Please be patient with mail coming out of this end of the world, but do let me know if a package fails to reach you and I will replace it.
