hi chicas! let's see what can i tell you? (well, first off - i hate to capitalize when i write.) i'm a 40-something chica, married to a cool guy named mik. he's everything i love in a man - funny, handsome, from new jersey, jewish, loyal and an amazing dad. we have a 14 year old named joel, who is a great kid. he is a smart student, loves to write music with his band (he's lead guitar) and has the most awesome curly hair! i was born and raised in tucson. i married mik in 1992 and had joel in 1994. we moved to germantown, maryland in july 2001. we lived in absolute suburbia for 4 years and then moved to henderson, nevada in 2005. we're very glad to be back in the desert.

i loooooove a singer, songwriter named pete yorn. we saw him 3 times last year!! the music in my ipod is diverse - old prince, arcade fire, dance music (salsa, club, trance), luis miguel (guilty pleasure). lately i'm into 70's r&b, lowrider tunes - sos band, heatwave, stylistics

i love a good sodoku book. i'm into crosswords. but as for real reading i've enjoyed poisonwood bible, memoirs of a geisha, brick lane

there are some movies i could watch over and over. garden state, nacho libre, peewee's big adventure, joy luck club, the color purple, charlie and the chocolate factory, nightmare before christmas. i will watch ANYTHING with JOHNNY DEPP. i also enjoy documentaries.
