Hi, I am a packrat that collects almost everything kawaii. I have a flickr page:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/mykawaiic0ll3cti0n/
My Birthday is in December which is half good and half bad. If some people know my Birthday, I get double the presents otherwise everyone is on vacation somewhere and I end up spending my Birthday alone.
The first thing I ever collected was Sailor Moon stickers. Then I moved on to Video Games (Aeris from Final Fantasy VII and Gwendoyln from Odin Sphere are my all time favorite Heroines), now Kawaii goodies (letter sets, sticker sacks, memo pads, now into plush) and toys (Littlest Pet Shop & Lalaloopsies).
I have a precious daughter now named Beatrice (2 years old) who if I am not working takes up most of my time. I never liked to travel before but now I have her, I want to show her the world. Hopefully I can take her to Disneyland, Japan, Hong Kong, and on Cruises. Her proud grandfather takes tons of pictures of her which I will someday put in a series of scrapbooks.
I like Christmas songs and children's song. Any song from Disney is also good. Besides those, I listen to songs that appear in the games I play or the anime I watch. Once in awhile I hear a song in the store or someone's car that I end up searching for and download it to my itune.
I grew up on books by R. L. Stine. I am pretty amazing he is getting pretty old and is still able to write more books. I have the complete set of Goosebumps, most of Give Yourself Goosebumps, the complete set of Goosebumps 2000 and some of Ghosts of Fear Street. I haven't gotten any of his Goosebumps Horrorland or Goosebumps Hall of Horror because of kawaii collection but hopefully I'll get all of those too for my library.
Other books I read are mangas (favorite is Yotsuba!), Garfield the Cat comic books. I do read some adult love stories from Linda Howards too.
I have quite a few favorite movies. Find Nemo is my most favorite movie not only cause its a touching story, fun and under the sea, but it was the first and last movie I saw with my first love and ex-boyfriend.
Wall-E was the least English speaking movie I took my husband to see since he barely knew any English. Good love story too.
My Best Friend's Wedding, The Holiday, and The Wedding Date, some very good romantic and funny love stories.
Howl's Moving Castle, Ponyo, and Spirited Away, captivating & beautiful stories from Hazao Miyazaki
Tangled, Princess and the Frog, Rio, mainly cuz my two year old watches them over and over.
When I was young, I liked watching Sailor Moon, Pokemon, Gargoyles, Tiny Toons Adventures, The Simpsons, etc. The only TV show I watched as a grown up (mostly on DVD) was Friends. I never saw Friends but I heard people in High School talk about them all the time. I caught a glimpse of an episode during college where Ross finds out Rachael likes him and they end up kissing in the coffee shop. I bought the whole DVD set after that.
Origami Stars and scrapbooking are the only crafts I can do. Now with my 2 year old, I can't do anything anymore.
Christmas is my most favorite holiday of all. I love it for the music, the colors, and all the goodies that come out during the last two months of the year.
I like banks, whether is is a cow, insect, whatever but I am running out of room for them.
I collect boardgames too. A highschool friend of mines got me into them but now I have no friends that can come over and play anymore...
I like Disney goodies too. Anything plush or stationery goodies is good.
I don't have much to wish for since I accept I can't have everything in this world. I tend to get most things on my own except for the non-USA goods such as:
Diddl - Where I live, I can't find much of this. I was born in the year of the rat so I love this character a whole lot more than Mickey mouse. I do have a kind friend here that sends me boxes of Diddl goodies.
NiCi - This one is new to me and I don't see this much here either.
Sanrio - The only Sanrio here was closed in 2010. Hello Kitty is still easy to find here but I don't have much of Pekkle, Batz Maru or Pochacco.
Nyan Nyan Nyanko - This one seems pretty pricey and rare.
Things with pictures of real animals or people.
Chocolate, somehow I am the only one who can't stand much chocolate in my family.
Tea, coffee or alcohol, I am the only one who don't drink any of these as well in my family.
Candles, I am not allergic but I have 3 kids in the house and I don't want to risk burning down my house.
Make-up Goodies - I grew up around make-up and I mean bookcases filled from the bottom to the top with Make-up (Mary Kay Brands) so somehow I ended up hating make-up and don't know how to use them.
Toys or goodies with characters for boys such as Batman, Spiderman, Spongebob, etc.
I can get kawaii goodies from the following places:
www.janetstore.com www.kawaiiya.com www.kawaiishopjapan.com
We have a new place here called Asian City that carries Japanese bento goodies, plushies, stationery goodies, etc.
I can also get goodies from Michael's, Joanna, etc.
I think I can anything since I have quite a few friends from other places in the world too.

Hello DeeAnn!
I am your partner for Leave A Comment #6 I too like origami and scrapbooking. I also have a 4 and 5 year old daughters who keep me very busy. My husband is huge into Anime and the girls love Dragon Ball Z, The Last Unicorn, and Sailor Moon. Children are such a blessing although they can be little terrors too (but worth it).
Keep crafting and have a blessed Birthday soon! Joy Hurley (aka: swapsarefun)
