Update 8/21/09: The stress of the things going on in my life caused my health to decline in several areas. I have been in the hospital and am now back home. I am working on swaps owed a bit at a time, and I am sorry for the delay in getting them....I will post dc# in the ratings when I can. Again, I am sorry...but REAL LIFE has gotten in the way....My priorities are to family, and my health not my hobby...I know some of you think that swapping rules the earth and space but real life gets in the way sometimes, all I can do is appologize for my delay and send the swaps as I can. I haven't been on swap bot for 3 weeks. Thank you Tabi for posting the comment in my comments section. I appreciate it.

Update 8/4/09 Thank you all for your continued support and understanding. Things are going to get real bumpy here for awhile yet and I am holding on with all I have...being strong for my kids is all I can do. I am finding time to catch up on swaps, and doing and resends that I need to...Things are just a wreck here....I am hoping that the future starts looking brighter for me really soon! Again, I just wanted to give a quick update.

Update 7/31/09: Things are still quite a mess and a struggle for me at the moment:( Some days its like I am barely hanging on :( But I am still here and still around and I thank you ladies for the nice emails I have received. I really appreciate your love and support during my trouble times here at home. I am working on swaps nightly and they are going out 1 by 1...I have a huge stack going out on Monday. I hope you all enjoy them and I look forward to your ratings!!

I am 29,married Christian mommy to 2 boys:) I love swapping and have been doing it off and on since 1992! My hubby and I have been married since 2000 (we met online in 1999) and my sons were born in 2002 & 2005. They are my life. I have 4 cats ranging in age from 9 months to 12 years and they are my fur babies:) I also had a dog named Roxie who was a rescue dog..but sadly she was struck and killed by a car 5/09, this came as a big shock as we live on a quiet dirt road....Last but not least, we have welcomed a new puppy into our home. Lucy was born 2/10/09:) She is a rottie mix:) I am also a volunteer with a local animal rescue group--I volunteer as a foster parent for kitties needing homes:)

I've been living in NC since 1994, before that I was born and raised in Bangor Maine. I miss my Northernly roots, especially during these horrible hot and humid NC summers!!!

I love mostly country music...but I have a vast collection ranging from classical to heavy metal:) I have a passion for making burned cd's for swaps:) One of my favorites! I am always up for a good challenge.

I love American Idol! I was so sad this year when Adam Lambert lost---He is just a WONDERFUL singer and not to mention DROP DEAD GORGEOUS!! Don't care if he is gay, he can come sit on my bed and sing any day LOL

I love the "Dexter" series! I have read the first one, am half-way through the second and can't wait for the 3rd. I am also an AVID Stephen King fan being that I am from Maine:) I have also read all of the Dave Pelzer books! Heartbreaking and page turning. Another favorite of mine is "The Secret Life of Bees"---great read! Can't wait to see the movie.

I love House, Dexter, CSI, Lost and my CBS soap operas.....Especially Young & The Restless and Guiding Light....... Any items with Hugh Laurie or Michael C. Hall, Adam Lambert would be greatly appreciated!! Yummy:) They just melt my butter LMAO... I have recently started watching "My Name is Earl" and :The Office" which are great too! I also love old school tv like "Golden Girls" and "Quantum Leap" :) Oh and I must admit, I love Family Guy, South Park and Futurama.

Movies...hmm..I have so many favorites, but I guess my all time fave would have to be "Steel Magnolias"--oh, I cry everytime. But amongst my other favorites...I love all the 80's "brat pack" movies, Stephen King movies.......Cheesy horror flix like "Killer Klowns from Outer Space" LMAO:) I have a bazillion movies that we've gotten that I haven't watched yet----Seems like when ya have so many it makes it hard to choose what to watch:)

Sports!!!!! I am a downright die hard CAROLINA HURRICANES FAN!!! 2006 Stanley Cup Champs!!!!! I am also a UNC Tarheels girl (which is difficult in a house with a hubby who LOVES Duke!!) But anything to do with the 'Canes or the 'Heels is a plus in my book:) I don't watch alot of football/baseball but I have my favorites there, New England Patriots for Football and the Red Sox for Baseball......

Swapping of course:) I swap here, and had previously left all my yahoo groups, but I missed them too so I started an FB/Mommy FB group over there again:)

I am learning to crochet...I've made a few potholders and scarves...It's a learning process for sure!

I am still a newbie at making ATC's but some people have really liked the ones I have sent so I guess I am getting better at them:)

I LOVE STICKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are probably the best thing I like to get in the mail:) Envies full of them make my day:)

I swap friendship books, mommy friendship books, friendship sheets, slams, stickerbags, goodie bags, mixed cd's, and stickers---as I said above I LOOOOOOVE stickers:) I ADORE "Maxine" stuff---crazy nutty ol' lady LOL

I love to get let goodies in the mail for my boys:) Ewan is 6 and loves anything to do with Spongebob and Star Wars. Liam is 3 and LOOOOOOVES to watch Elmo, YO Gabba Gabba and loves race cars!

Wanna make my day and get a million hearts?? (well I can only give ya 1 lol) Send me pre-cut ATC cards! I love having a big ol stack of them to go to instead of having to stop when I am in an ATC making frenzy to go and cut more! An envie full of them would make my day, my week, my year!! :)

There isn't really alot that I dislike....I dislike STRONGLY scented items as they give me headaches...I dislike immature petty high school behavior out of adults...I dislike snakes and spiders...other then that I am super easy to please....If I can't use something you send I am sure I can find someone who can:)

As mentioned above I am an avid supporter of animal rescues. I have been involved with a local rescue for 6 months and I love it. I love being a foster parent for homeless kitties, as well as participating in multiple fundraising events for our rescue. If you live in the NC area and want to learn more about the rescue I volunteer for please PM me. We are the recent winners of the Care2.com 1st Animal Shelter Contest!!! We won $10,000---Sadly that only put a dent in our bills and rescue costs but we've been working hard to make sure no cat, or dog goes without a home. My other intrests, or charities, are the American Diabetes Association (as I am a Type 2 Diabetic, and I give heavily to charities that are trying to find a cure for emphysema. I lost my mother in 2006 to emphysema and she lived the last two years of her life with 5% lung function, I would love for others not to have to go through that. I miss my mother everyday, and it hurts knowing she died from such a preventable disease--DON'T SMOKE!! I wanna slap my hubby every day for being a smoker.....Hopefully he'll quit one day....Anyways, those are the SI's I have. What are some of yours?

I am SO excited to be participating in swaps here again and I have been having a blast! I am BIG on rating so if I miss rating a swap you sent me PLEASE contact me and I will glady rate ya if I have received. I HATE WHEN PEOPLE DONT RATE!!!!!!!!!! So I have no problem being told I forgot one:) I try my BEST to make my swaps great for all my partners....if you are unsatisfied with a swap I URGE you to contact me---I will gladly discuss it and come to some sort of fix or agreement:) I am proud that I have almost restored all my good ratings:) And that the great swappers out there see that I am doing so! Now, with that being said--you CANNOT please everyone all the time---When I send out a swap I always think to myself "would I be happy to receive this" and it is that thought that I live by in my swaps! There will undoubtably be some overly picky people in the world out there--we will ALL bump into one now and then---But PLEASE KNOW, that I strive to make my partners happy! I never send items that I wouldn't be pleased to receive myself:) HAPPY SWAPPING EVERYONE!
