I am sorta new to postcard trading/swapping and recently joined Postcrossing, that's where I stumbled across Swap-Bot.

I'm looking forward to building an amazing postcard collection from across the US and around the world.

I live in a small town in Illinois not too far from St. Louis MO. Divorced, 50s, vegetarian, except some fish & dairy.

Love to laugh and love humor, in general...sarcastic, silly, ironic, wacky, offbeat, bizarre, all kinds.

I am so not easily offended.

In case this is important, favorite color: maroon.

Favorite good-for-me snack: soy nuts

Favorite bad-for-me snacks: neccos, smarties, maple nut goodies, jelly beans.

Music: country, 60s through now, smooth jazz, disco, Motown, R&B

Go to an occasional concert (Dolly Parton, Alan Jackson, Rascal Flatts/Darius Rucker and Keith Urban/Sugarland recently)

Movies: "Planes, Trains and Automobiles", "Vacation", "Die Hard", "Lethal Weapon", "Duel", lots of Tom Hanks, Tommy Lee Jones, Wesley Snipes, Nicolas Cage, Will Smith, Cary Grant, Audrey Hepburn, Goldie Hawn, Chevy Chase, Barbra Streisand movies

TV: not much, just some reality shows like Survivor & Amazing Race, and Ice Road Trucker on History Channel and Cardinals baseball games. Mostly, if it's on at all, it's on for background noise, and to drown out cricket noise.

Sightseeing, anything from the World's Largest Frying Pan to Carhenge to Grand Canyon to places packed with history like Boston & Washington DC. & stopping to take a picture of the state sign when crossing into a new state, taking pictures of funny/unusual named cities, businesses, etc, such as Lizard Lips Lounge, Mad Butcher (grocery store), Big Foot Restaurant (Big Foot, IL), Santa Claus, IN

Baseball, especially the St. Louis Cardinals & going to Cardinal's games

My 6 dogs & 1 cranky cockatiel

Pontooning & jetskiing with family and friends

Stadiums, cityscapes, tunnels, bridges

All things in nature (except noisy crickets), especially unusual cloud formations, mountains, oceans, beaches, starry skies, full moon, sunset/sunrise, waterfalls

Animals & spotting animals in the wild, such as wild turkeys or peacock in a field, deer in the woods, prairie dogs standing by their burrows, pronghorn antelope grazing in grassland, and if I'm fortunate enough to snap a picture, even better!

I have no dislike for any type of postcard, they're all good in one way or another.

These dislikes have nothing to do with swapping, I suppose, it just feels good to get it out...Shopping, Cooking, Painting, Cooking, Cricket & cicada noise, Cooking, Clutter, Cooking, When the Cardinals lose a game, Cooking, Urban sprawl, not Keith, the other kind.
