I don't have internet at home, so don't worry if I don't respond right away. I will soon. Even if it is from a cell-net.

I am an artist and crafter. I am interested in almost everything. I am a newlywed and TTC. I have a pom pom son named Spencer. My black cat, Harley, has recently passed on. Now I have a blue cat named Blue. :) I love nature. I like handmade toys (esp. wooden), scarves, dark chocolate, artifacts, oddities, books, mind teasers and riddles, plants (especially trees or food plants and herbs.) .....

My favorite color is green. My least favorite color is white. (White is just so lifeless!) My favorite season is Autumn. I am obsessed with pumpkins! Both looks and taste! (Feel free to send me recipes, but please no pumpkin pie recipes!) I love anything halloween/autumn at anytime of the year! I love leaves. My favorite month is October. I even got married in October! I love bats. I used to have one as a pet. (Ok so technically a rescue since I got him from a woman that beat him up with a broom! grrr!)

My music preference really depends on my mood (I like most kinds of music.) I like to read anything that grabs attention or that you can learn from.

I love to sew, quilt, knit, paint, really I like to try everything at least once!

I don't really know what to write about myself. LOL I am friendly. And there is hardly anything I am not interested in.

My number top things lately are sewing, and I am starting a stamp collection...not the postage kind, the inked image kind.

I am also on geocaching.com and postcrossing.com.

Current Swap Info:

As of October 2009, I will no longer be joining/starting swaps that require something to be made until I've made that item first. My neice is in and out the hospital, so with my limited spare time, I'd like to make sure no one get's a late package from me again! So sorry, MooseMama!!!

For the autumn quilted squares: I would prefer pumpkins (surprise, surprise, huh?! LOL)

All others: Surprise me!

For the Hubby:

Travis likes model car kits; hotwheels/matchbox/johnny lightning etc. cars still in package; His favorite colors are green, blue, and black; He likes biker stuff. He could really use a new wallet and a new watch. He likes tools, too. Sending something to him that makes him happy also makes me happy!

Response: I'm so glad you like it. It was all recycled. Most of it used to be pants. The felt was scraps from other projects, and the inside was from a collapsible caddy. So sorry it was late. And thank you for the prayers. She finally came home, but it isn't over. :( Thanks for the heart!

Response: I made it up. :) Out of all the blocks I made thus far, that one is the one I spent the most time on. If you are interested in a private swap, I'll send you directions, templates, and material.

Comment: As a child I didn't like pumpkin, and now when fall rolls around I cannot get enough. I am excited to try the Winter Squash-Apple Soup.
Response: I've always loved pumpkin, but as I get older I get pickier and picker about it. I love the soup, tho. I love how you can use any winter squash you want. Hope you enjoy it, too. :)

Comment: Thank you, Niki. For a first swap you did just great. You envelope was larger than the size described -- but I'd NEVER complain about that kind of thing. The extras you added, ribbon and buttons were a kind thought and useful, too, of course. So I think you deerve a heart for your first swap. Happy swapping in the future.

I am sorry you had 3 people in row not send to you and give you the same story. I wish I could prove to you that I was sick, but I do understand not quite believing what people say. I don't know why the recipes haven't gotten to you yet, but more will be sent out right away.
