hmmm...Shel Silverstein and Robert Louis Stevenson, Good Omens, Irvine Welsh, The Princess Bride, the Slayer series by William King. Roald Dahl, Sara Douglass, Alison Taylor... Christopher Moore, Kurt Vonnegut and of course, the Brothers Grimm. Barb Wire, Tank Girl, The Sandman or most anything by Neil Gaiman, V for Vendetta and anything illustrated by Jill Thompson. Ina May Gaskin, C.S. Lewis, Jesus with Dirty Feet, anything by Gary Chapman. I read all the time, so book recommendations are great!

as a friend once said, "you dig music that is rough and seedy, showing the dirty, unpleasant underbelly of life but is poetic for all that" so punk, glam, blues, rockabilly, old country, anything unlikely I will love! I'm always looking for new (to me) music so cds or suggestions are very welcome.

I dig crocheting (could always use new magazines/patterns) and refuse to learn to knit (not ever!). Sewing, especially hand sewing makes me so happy. And photography, oh my love! I still use a 35mm FILM camera. But have acquired a digital and am having a bit of fun learning about it. All kinds of crafting is done with my kid; painting, sculpting, growing things.. It's all pretty much good, except knitting! :)

I love old things, especially old, handcrafted things. I love black, it's my favorite color but I like all other colors. I like rivers and woods and the desert. I like laying in my bed. I love God. I love my man. I love my sons. I like the way they see the world. I love babies in tee shirts and cloth diapers. I like black teas and very dark chocolate. I love black licorice. I like parties and games and getting naked. I love D&D (Dungeons and Dragons). I love tealight candles. I like peppermint and honey, both the flavor and smell. I like writing. I love my friends. I love motorcycles. I like big black boots and black leather jackets. I like hot showers and playing in the rain.

I love collecting jewelry pins (brooches), handmade dolls; big or small, cute or ugly, fabric, yarn, paper, they're all wonderful, collections of short stories, recipe books, art postcards, wool or cotton yarn and my oldest is getting into postcard collecting so if you want to write your sb message on a cool pc, he and I would love it!

So all in all, I'm still fairly young, with days that I wonder where has my life gone?! I'm married and have two awesome boys! I'm still a punk rock girl, just trapped in a housewife/sahm body. Anyone else reconciling the two?

Oh and I don't really dislike anything or don't want anything, as I can always pass it along but mostly it's because I LOVE suprises! I don't offend easily. I am ALLERGIC to latex and super sensitive to unnatural bath/body products, mostly the chemical dyes and fragrances. So if you need/want more information, just ask.
