hmmm...poetry, fantasy and erotica (which is really fantasy too)- Shel Silverstein and Robert Louis Stevenson, Good Omens, Irvine Welsh, The Princess Bride, the Slayer series by William King. Roald Dahl, Sara Douglass, Alison Taylor who writes erotica...Christopher Moore, Kurt Vonnegut and of course, the Brothers Grimm. Also, comic books or graphic novels. Barb Wire, Tank Girl, The Sandman or most anything by Neil Gaiman, V for Vendatta and anything illustrated by Jill Thompson. I read all the time, so book recommendations are great!

as a friend once said, "you dig music that is rough and seedy, showing the dirty, unpleasant underbelly of life but is poetic for all that" so punk, glam, blues, rockabilly, old country, anything unlikely I will love! I'm always looking for new (to me) music so mix cds or suggestions are very welcome.

ok, my favorite movie of ever is The Dark Crystal and then Trainspotting (which is a much better book). True Romance (or really any 'fugitive lovers on the run' movie) when I feel sappy. Silent, black and white German Films. Oh and any movie that stars John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara or Wayne and Gail Russell together is absolutely the best!

I dig crocheting and refuse to learn to knit (not ever!). Sewing, especially hand sewing makes me so happy. And photography, oh my love! I still use a 35mm FILM camera. All kinds of crafting is done with my kid; painting, sculpting, growing things.. It's all pretty much good, except knitting!

I love old things, especially old, handcrafted things. Furniture, clothes, decor, photography, etc. I love black, it's my favorite color but I like all other colors. I love God, he is my Abba and his son, my Savior. I like rivers and woods and the desert. I like laying in my bed. I love my man. I love discovering life with my son. I like black teas and very dark chocolate. I like parties and games and getting naked. I love D&D (Dungeons and Dragons). I love tealight candles. I like peppermint and honey, both the flavor and smell. I like writing. I love my friends. Especially ones who give amazing homemade gifts. I love motorcycles. I love steel toe boots and black leather jackets. I like hot showers and playing in the rain. I like Nat Sherman cigarettes. I love dresses and thigh-high socks and fuzzy homemade leg warmers. I love babies in tee shirts and cloth diapers. I like all things interesting, strange, natural, or handmade.

So all in all, I'm still fairly young, with days that I wonder where has my life gone?! I'm married and have a great child with another due Mid July. Both the boys in my life are amazing! I'm still a punk rock girl, just trapped in a housewife/sahm body. Anyone else reconciling the two? Oh and I don't really dislike anything or don't want anything, as I can always pass it along but mostly it's because I LOVE suprises! I don't offend easily.
