About my rating: I rate people based on how much effort they put into their swaps, not how much I like what they sent. I give out hearts if I am blown away by the package, if I know you put in that extra effort or if by chance it hits a bulls eye on my profile target board! I also do not give out bad ratings without trying to contact you first. As I would expect any one else to do, because normally there is a reason for it being late or not sent. So please do have some understanding, not just with me, but others as well.

Re-Gifting I am one of those people who feels that if you receive something that just isn't YOU, you should feel like you have the option to give it someone else who you know would give it a good home. Because there is absolutely no point in having something gather dust in a drawer or go straight into the garbage can. When it could have been loved and used by someone else. That being said, if you do get something from me, and you feel the need to re-gift, please do! I will not be offended in the least! We all try to do our best when swapping, but sometimes there is just no way to completely please everyone!♥

In Other News!

September 9/2010 Update Ok, so apparently NOTHING happened in August, lol. Well no, thats not exactly true, but hey nothing the write home about right? LOL ANYWAYS...

I am trying to quit smoking, for the gazillionth time it feels like, and well, I just can't get past the routine of smoking at work. I can go 2 days without smoking if I am at home. But if I have to go to work, I'm screwed. --sigh-- Its just one of those hurtles that i can't seem to jump over and clear.

I have been trying DESPERATELY to catch up on my crafting. I have alot of half projects, and not enough finished ones...isn't that the story of most of our lives eh? So much to do, so little crafty time to go around? YUP. But when I do have the time, I can seriously sit at my table for hours on end, just creating. It keeps me sane. From all the crap that gets thrown at me in LIFE. Crafting and baking are my therapies. It makes it so I don't go nuts dealing with my hectic life. I thank GOD for my penpals every day too, because without them to ramble to, I would explode. Heres to you Lauraly!♥xoxox

July 3rd/2010 Update YAY! I managed to fix my profile slightly. For some reason my profile decided to duplicate itself and delete my Wish list...so I am going to have to make that one all over again...GRUMBLES. So to those lovely partners of mine who are needing a wishlist to shop for me, one will be posted shortly, I promise!!!

July 2nd/2010 Update My computer is fried. I am on a friends computer at the moment, so I have been able to take care of afew things, and my boyfriend is going to lend me his laptop for the time being, so apologies for late swaps and things not being posted on time! The tech told me that my mother board has a problem, and that I am going to need a new one, so thats a $300 bill that I can't afford at the moment, unless I can find my warranty paper work. //sigh// So none the less I have been frustrated. Not to mention that all of my files are most likely lost....

So please bare with me everyone while I get this stuff sorted out and fixed. I may be taking a break from Swap-bot as well, just to be sure that I don't disappoint anyone of you wonderful swappers.

June 18th/2010 Update Well, so far I have raised a Whopping 300 dollars for my walk for cancer...//sad face// What friends and family could donate have, but sadly most of whom I know are very tight with money right now, and I understand that. As I am not rolling in it myself, lol. But I do however want to give a shout out to all you lovely people who have sent me pink craft supplies, THANKYOU SO MUCH!!! Soon, I will be having some girlfriends over and we are just going to have a craft night, and bang off all of those cards for my yard sale comming up in the beginning of July. Hopefully that will generate some more monies that I can put towards my walk!

Life has been going well for the most part lately, working 2 jobs and getting by just fine. I am tired alot of the time, but I do my damnedest to make sure I get online once a day. As if it wasn't for this website and all my snail mail buddies, I would probably go insane...! >< I look forward to checking my mail every day, so I need to thank you all for that.

March 1st/2010 Update Okay, this small update is just going to be me ranting a little bit: OKAY, I know that over all, its the person receiving that decides whether you get a heart♥ or not. But seriously, is it THAT HARD to give one? When people give their best work, and put their hearts into the package, looking at their partner's Profile, making sure that they would like what they send. Trying to make it as "profile oriented" as possible, and STILL have their partner give a plain 5? Really? Can you not see that they have really tried to be good to you?? Its not about what was sent, its about effort, and trying to make your partner feel special. Going that little extra distance, to make your package stand out. Honestly, I think I do that with almost everything I send out. But yet, people just cannot bring themselves to click that "Give a Heart" button...

Lesse...Alittle about myself... My full name is Rachel Lydia Diane Fancy, and I am 22 years old. I have been swapping/pen-paling since I was about 10 years old. Career wise, I am a Sous Chef for one Local Business and I also have a new Job as a Line Cook. I have been through Culinary School and all that jazz and have been baking/cooking since I was 6 years old. Come on now, who HASN'T baked cookies with Mom or Grama? lol. I LOVE TO SWAP~and to make new friends around the world, its one of the things that keeps me from going nuts all the time. I have pals all through the USA as well as in Poland and Russia, and hopefully Japan soon too. I am an avid Deco maker, and play almost all of the games that get sent my way. I am also looking for some hardcore swappers, to send my gazillion FBs/X-slips/Slams/Decos to, lol.

I am allergic to Pineapple, Eggplant, Rasins, Walnuts, Grapes and most metals. But not so much that I would puff up and die suddenly. So sadly I cannot wear much of anything for jewelery. The only thing I wear is a jade pendant on a fabric cord. (Which broke awhile ago, so I keep the pendant in my change purse...) I cant even wear Gold earrings, it sucks...>.< I have been with my Boyfriend Scott for almost 3 years now, and have plans to get engaged in the near Future. I have also been part of the Weight Watchers program going on 9 months now, trying to loose a few pounds and change my lifestyle for the better. (Ya....that didn't work so well...hahaha) Anyways, that me in a nutshell.

• I am constantly dancing in my living room! And most of the time I am pretty sure people are watching!

• I check my Swap-Bot account about 4 times a day, seriously. Its an addiction, lol. I also play ALOT of Treasure Mania on Facebook, lol.

• When I decide to have kids, I want my first born Son to be named Sebastian and my first little girl to be Molly or Molly-Rae.

• I am Bi-Sexual. I like both sides of the fence sorta speak... hehe

• My Favourite number is 7 and my LUCKY number is 19!

• My Chinese Zodiac is a Rabbit and my Star Sign is Sagittarius.

• I have almost an ENTIRE cupboard dedicated to Tea and other hot drinks...

• I collect Starbucks Mugs, Funny Fridge Magnets and Loose Leaf Teas.

• I want to have my Honeymoon in Disney Land and go to the San Diego Zoo.

As of this moment in time, there are quite afew different TV shows that I am into right now. I live in Canada, and so really all the shows that I love to watch are on CTV, lol. Criminal Minds and CSI NY are the top ones, and I follow them religiously. Charmed is also one of my top 5 favs in the world, I have been watching the series from beginning to end for the fourth time now. I own all 8 seasons on DVD. My interests really when it comes to TV are Crime Dramas, Medical Dramas and supernatural stuff, like witches and ghosts and such. I really like Ghost Whisperer, EastWick and House.

My taste in movies is similar to that of my TV tastes, Crime Dramas, Supernatural etc... But most of all ANYTHING that stars Robin Williams as an actor or a voice. He is my fav Actor in the whole Entire world! I even got to meet him last year, when he came to do a show in Vancouver! I am a huge Harry Potter fan, and really enjoy Twilight. And I also have a weakness for Nicholas Cage, lol. Any movie based on a Comic book, I probably own. And my Robin Williams Collection has gotten to almost 40 DVDs. Including the first Season of Mork and Mindy, tee hee!

Okay, other than the movies and TV shows that I mentioned earlier, I am really into: Scrapbooking, Penpals, Crafting, Some cross-stitch, Scooby-Doo, Baking, Cooking, Swapping, Card-Making, Post Cards, BINGO, Anime, Harry Potter, Animals, Chocolate!, Loose Leaf Teas!, (Just no ginger, licorice or lemon) DISNEY, charity/missions work, yahtzee, Kernels Popcorn!, wicca, Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis, rainbows, fantasy creatures, fav colours are green, silver, blue, red and black, board games, card games. (I know those last two were rather general, but thats how wide my spectrum is for games, lol, some close friends own a game store...)

What I CANT STAND...?: Men who talk down to their wives or girlfriends, the colour PINK, People who think that they are better than others just because of who their friends are, People who try and push their beliefs on others, Spongebob squarepants, wrestling, most sports on TV (minus NFL football), spiders, and teeny tiny things that crawl...

• Stickers that have been folded in half. I realize that the boarder type stickers all cannot fit inside an envie, but it just ruins them when they are folded.

• Anything in regards to spiders or insects...I am terrified of spiders, and bugs are just icky.

• Ok, don't get me wrong, I LOVE dies cuts and embellishments as much as the next person, but PLEASE DO NOT send them LOOSE! Have the courtesy to keep them in the best condition possible and send them in a little baggie or something. I have gotten loose things before and most of them are torn and ruined before they even get to me!
