I love to make stuff. All kinds of stuff.
When I'm not making stuff, I'm doing massage and BodyTalk, writing stuff, hanging out with my family and friends, and going cool places, mostly outside.
I am deeply addicted to house music. I also love mix CDs of folksy, indie stuff that I can play while I'm making art or sewing.
I was an English major. I love great novels, classic literature and stuff that stretches my brain. Favorite writers: Annie Proulx, John Steinbeck, early Stephen King, Tolstoy, John Krakauer.
I have a weakness for crime movies, and cool indie Sundance-type films.
New season of The Office is here. Sweet.
Mixed media art, art journaling, playing on the sewing machine, cross-stitch, beading, needlepoint, embroidery, crochet, zine-making.
I like batik fabrics.
I like flowers...pressed flowers, images of flowers, floral fabrics, etc.
I kind of have a thing going about owls.
I get really blissed over packages of small scraps of fabric. I use them to make tiny art quilts.
I LOVE zines and will always be happy to see a zine in a swap.
I'm always looking for nifty collage images, everything from collage sheets to strange junk mail to art show cards to old bus tickets. Cut-up stuff is fine.
I love hand-me-down Oprah's Book Club novels.
I'm a sucker for micro-tip pens.
I'm always deeply impressed with handmade things.
I'm also very fond of fuzzy socks, women's 9-11.
Other stuff:
Little bags and boxes. Paper flowers. Crocheted flowers. Potholders. Lace. Buttons. Embroidery floss. Paper flotsam from your neck of the woods for my collages and art journal pages.
I love all renditions of: Owls. Birds. Eggs. Butterflies. Nature stuff. Leaves. Flowers.
I'm not into cutesy stuff, Disney stuff, Kawaii stuff, or religious stuff. I don't like flavored coffee or tea. Please no bath stuff or soaps.

Ooh, thanks for another fun postcard--so cute! (C+P Supply Swap) Love the way you used the dried flowers.
