About Me

Update 5-20-13/so the next 3 weeks i will be busy with 2 events in my life so i will be checking in from time to time. will have my swaps out in time, but if you have questions on ones i am hosting send me a PM.

Back to doing my public swaps keep in mind I do have strict rules to my swaps to keep it safe for those that are swapping. So see to the right the current swap I am hosting!

Card making, cross stitching, mini-album making, crocheting and what ever else I get into well it will keep my empty hours full!

All swaps within the US - I ship through my Paypal so you will receive a message with the tracking number so you will know when it will be arriving to your home. International partners you will know when I send cause I will make sure I click on SENT on the swap. So if you do not receive in a timely fashion recommended time period by our postal service please send a message and I will see about getting another one out to you.

Been busy with my thimble collection - added another more vintage civil war site dug ones. Those I not sure maybe about 30 of them. My Collection growing slowly right now. Currently have approximately 900+ assortment of them. Goal to have a 1000 by end of 2013!

My 2 large cross stitch projects are on hold right now for about 12 months - so busy with work need to get the mojo back so doing a cross stitch cow swap. Go here if even if you are not a cow lover you will love stitching these - typically can be stitched by a season stitcher in 8-10 hours really!

Love my Circut - have quite the collection of carts and now with digital downloads I am sure that I will be taking advantage of it. So if I am swapping with you for a card you can expect some cutouts.

Well I am a Cross stitching Fanatic that did one exchange for hand dyed fabbies and have been hooked ever since and now have turned it into a business. See link above

I have a line called "Lil bits of Fabbie"© - package hand dyed cross stitching fabric that can be used from Bookmarks to 8 x 10 charts. All package in assortments from 2-1/2" x 8" to 9 x 11, and then I have Limited edition fabbies that I dye up for Stitch Alongs (SALs) and sell the remaining out in larger pieces for those that have downloaded my chart and decide they have to have that fabbie! LOL!

My fabbies have gone in all corners of the world from here in the USA to Down under! Have a lot of repeat orders so I must be doing something right!

I also create my own charts for sale and some I just plain give away as bonuses to my group members/customers.

In addition to selling cross stitch supplies i am also selling scrapbook supplies on my Etsy Store - Stop on by

I have been married for 34 years to a wonderful man, 3 children, a 1 dog (my oldest one past away this past July 2012) which are my babies. Since my kids are all grown and on their own.

Blog

Well on my blog you can see the many pieces I stitched out on my own fabbie in my Halloween ornie Album, My SAL pics, and my original designs.

You can also see other pics of my SAL items that were my original chart designs. Stitched out by gals from all over the world.

Comment: Thank you for hosting this swap. I did enjoy making the owl cushion for my partner and I am planning to make a few more of these for gifts. On a side note, crushed walnut shells can be found in sporting goods stores that sell gun reloading equipment. The walnut shell medium, which is the consistency of large grains of sand, is used for cleaning the brass casings. I am going to have to keep these guys locked up when the humidity rolls in. The rice will absorb moisture out of the air.
Response: I am glad you llike them - and enjoy the swap. never had an issue with rice before. thanks for the tip for the crushed walnuts.
