To cut a long story short...

I had left swap-bot for two years, but now I'm back for some nice tea-swaps and whatever else comes to my mind

I'm sorry there's a no-send. This swap was about a holiday journal and I simply didn't find the time to write it. I'm still so sorry this happened and I won't let something like this happen again. I also contacted my swap partner from back then to find a way to make up for that mistake

For TEA-swaps:

  • I like fruit teas of all sorts
  • please no flavored black tea, if you decide to send me black tea then without added flavors, please ^^
  • I'm not a big fan of standard green tea though I like to drink some typical Japanese green tea (like that one you can buy as an instant powder) once in a while
  • hot chocolate is fine, too :)

About Me

My flickr name is also "schildmaid"

I'm of the emotional, creative type. My feelings run from highest to lowest. I'm always looking for new ways to be creative and express myself. Communities like this show me there are others like me, just living different and being proud of it ^^ You are my inspiration and I hope I can swap a lot with you guys. My real name is Elisa and I'm a 25 years old girl from Germany, Bavaria. I live in a little town called Dorfen about 60km from Munich. It's wonderful here, green, people know each other like in a small village but still it's a town and you get everything you need. At the moment there's no other place I could imagine to live at.

For fouryears now I live in a lovely little flat I treat as my kingdom. The hall is kept in black and white with zebra and b/w New York/London pictures on the wall. My bathroom with the unbelievable 70ies colour green flagstones looks more like an aquarium with lots of green/blue and fishes around. My kitchen is painted in a lurid green what makes the old room modern and powerful to try out new recipes and bake good cakes. The biggest room is used for living, watching TV, crafting, internet and it's painted in my favourite colour: PINK! A pastel one. Last but not least there's the smallest bedroom on earth; all kept in a pastel blue and decorated with seagulls, seashells and stuff like that.

You already see, as I'm born in July my sign is cancer and I'm such a typical cancer...I love the sea and everything connected to it, also I'm addicted to the moon :) I used to collect everything concerning cows and matchboxes (so matchbox-swaps are the right thing for me), now I'm more addicted to old children's books, e.g. by Enid Blyton, Berte Bratt etc. Most of them printed by the German "Schneider Verlag" in the 60ies and 70ies. Also I'm anime/manga addicted.

Well, actually I study Japanese language and culture as well as English literature at Munich university. Secondary I've established a little webdesign-design agency, but there are no borders to my crafty and creative ideas, so webdesign is not the only thing I'm going to do in the future, I guess.

My favourite all time-colours are PINK and WHITE...preferably in combination. At the moment I also like yellow for the summer, refreshing lime green, as well as purple and turquoise. You can always please me with bright and happy or pastel colours. I'm not a big fan of colour combinations like dark purple and dark green (more the autumn type of colours) or orange and brown...to much 70ies hospital interior style lol

I love to drink tea and hot chocolate BUT NO COFFEE for me, sorry! ( I just don't like the taste) I prefer fruity teas, I don't like roiboos that much, but still I will survive a cup or two :)

I like fruity and sweet smells, but they have to smell real and not artificial like e.g. vanilla often does. My favourite perfume is Betty Barcley Woman No. 2 (the blue one). Almost my complete bathromm is filled with showergels and stuff from Yves Rocher, I love the way their products smell and I use them a lot. It's great if you can send me something from The Body Shop, their products are ways too expensive in Germany. Love that mango smell yummy

I LOVE chocolate and sweets of all kinds besides jelly filled cakes and chocolate (like jelly banana or soft cake) and liqourice. As I love to bake myself you make me happy with muffin/cookie/etc. recipes :) and cute kitchen supplies! Still I watch my weight (I'm a member of the weight watchers, already finished my diet), so recipes with less sugar and fat are appreciated.

I like beads and buttons, STICKERS (!!!), stuff to be crafty, be it crocheting, sewing, paper crafts... As I'm new to crocheting and knitting (in the future) I would love to receive all kinds of crocheting or knitting needles. For yarn I prefer 100% cotton/woll/bamboo/etc. and no acrylic. Mix yarns are also fine, as effect yarns are so wonderful to do cute amigurumis. In connection with my favourite colours I'd love pink yarn in every variation, but also yellow and purple and pastel colours would get my heart jumping. I especially like beads and buttons, I hardly own any cute ribbons or lace. The variety of nice fabrics is also pretty low in Germany, I like designs with flowers and birds, polka dots or vichy caros.

I like everythings that glitters or is fluffy and plushy :) Also everything "cute" / kawaii, which means the asian type of cute: Sanrio stuff or e.g. the kind of products you can find at www.lettersets.com or kawaiicorner.com My favourite characters may be Hello Kitty, Charmmy Kitty, Chococat and Deery Lou. I love all food and everyday life things with faces on them blush Just too cute :)

I'm more the type for silver jewelry, but I enjoy golden one from time to time. I don't wear very big or heavy earrings.

I love to receive postcards, letters, parcels ( I guess we all do here at swap-bot). You make me happy with nice stamps on the envelopes and I highly appreciate it when the items you send me are wrapped in a nice way. I love to unwrap packages and in my opinion wrapping shows how much effort you put into the package.

I love to read and write which means I would love to receive blank books and also plain journals, calendars and stuff. Stationary of all kinds is alwyas a good buy for me.

As a child of the 80ies I hate the fashion and music of that time ;D but I love the old cartoons, especially Rainbow Brite, My little Pony, Care Bears and Lady Lovleylocks (!!!) So if you can send me anykind of stuff connected to those I'd be SUPER HAPPY!

Favorite Music

FM4, J-Pop, mystic, chillout (I love the cafe del mar cds) etc. I'd love to get some lounge and swing music cds, the music you listen to at coffew fellows or san francisco cofee company I can never get enough Christmas CDs

Favorite Crafts

At the moment I'm totally into crocheting, what means doing amigurumis and I plan to do a big ripple-blanket. I'm not very good so far, but I'm trying my best. My winter project will be learning to knit! Also I'm dreaming of learning how to sew. My mommy gave a sewing machine to me last christmas, but I haven't done much with it so far. So very easy sewing patterns and of course sewing supplies of every kind are perfect for me ;) I'd love to get cute ribbons and beads (I know I already mentioned this) so I can do more earrings, dreamcatchers and other lovely stuff. I do not own any scrapbooking or other paper supplies, as this is not so popular in Germany, still I would love to decorate my photoalbums in a more beautiful way than...without any deco?!

Comment: Looks delicious! Thanks also for the descriptions of the teas. Though apparently my husband remembers more German from high school than he thought as he was able to translate the packages for me! Though who's to say I would have believed him without your super cute note!
