Back to swapping at last :-) Forgive me if I haven't replied to your message sent in the last 4 months, there are hundreds and it will take time.
I live in the middle of England and am obsessed with art journals, list journals, junk journals, Moleskine. Journals, Wreck this Journal...
I'm on a mission to make the most of life, and do something every day that makes me happy. Making swaps that make someone else smile gives a good feeling :-)
My love of art comes from 10 years living in London with it's amazing galleries and museums. I worked there as a magazine journalist before switching careers to graphic design, specialising in printmaking and handmade book-making.
I have always believed hearts are for effort, which includes reading your swap partners profile. Random bits of paper in an envelope don't do it for me.
I love stickers as they look great on a journal cover but don't want any cute/teddy bear stickers or kids/reward stickers or anything vintage/flowery. I also don't like things with animals on, just not my thing - probably from growing up allergic to every animal I go near.
My favourite colour at the moment is purple. I also like cobalt teal and turquoise.
For washi swaps, I love geometric, triangles, chevrons, grids, arrows, maps, houses, I have no purple washi so would love that, also love turquoise and teal and ones with writing on.
I like typography, quote postcards or tourist/where you live, triangles on anything. I don't go for anything vintage, flowery or cutesy.
I love magazine articles about relaxation (not yoga or mindfulness) and curing depression and anxiety without pills.
I like hand made prints, cool envelopes with doodles or patterns that you have drawn, (and love stamps on my mail). Any personal zines are appreciated and well loved. I love to find out about people and the personal/secrets that get revealed in a zine.
My crafting hate is glitter. It taunts my OCD by getting where it shouldn't.
I don't do any sewing/knitting/quilting crafts so don't waste your money & postage sending me wool, ribbon, buttons or fabric. Not a clue!
I also don't use die-cut, Project Life cards or random pieces of paper, my house is full of it already!
Please don't send me any tea/coffee/choc drinks, food, sweets or toiletries as I have a ridiculous amount of allergies - chemical, smell and food allergies. I'm also allergic to animal/pet hair and fur. These can bring on rashes, sinusitis, migraines and my nut allergy can make me really ill. And please no glitter! Thanks for understanding :-)

My friend calls glitter Craft Herpes. Pass it on. :D
Thank you so much for my birthday card!
Oh crap! Just completed the art journaling in yours and THEN read all the way down to the part where you HATE GLITTER! OH NOS! The good news- it's totally enclosed in paint, shouldn't flake off anywhere...i promise!
Welcome to The Journal Keepers! So happy to have you join us :) I hope you will enjoy the group.
Hello hun! The mood ring you gave me has been a consistent deep purple shade :D It's so fun!
Thank you for noticing! It's nice to be back :) I'm slowly getting back into it, so hopefully I get to swap with you again in the future!
Thank you again for the summer journal! It was so nice to receive one back as nice as the one I sent. If you ever want to do a private swap of journals let me know. We have lots in common :)
Sorry, that was a double excited. She was DOUBLY excited to wait to open the exciting package. Now that the package is opened, she is TRIPLY and QUADRUPLY excited.
A giant THANK YOU from my daughter and from me -- we decided not to open your exciting package until her birthday and she was so excited waiting for the big day. Wow, we don't know how to thank you both. A return letter/ package is forthcoming ... with a seasonally appropriate theme, we hope!
