About Me

I love to make and give gifts. My favorite pass time is sewing and I love Brights like Strawberry Lemonade, Butterfly Fling. Love polka dots, batiks, Darlene Zimmerman,Mary Engelbreit, and 1930s reproduction fabrics. Love sock monkeys. Designers include Michael Miller, Me and My Sister,(everything Moda) Bunny Hill, Funky Monkey, Dick and Jane. Love charm squares and jelly rolls and fatquarters.

I love making totes and bags, quilts, baby things and machine embroidery. Love making yo-yo's!!

Baking is another passion and yeast baking is the most fun but baking for the holidays is a close second. Cookies, cakes and cupcakes are very fun! Love working with chocolate!

I love English novels, and my music is Jazz or Rock and Roll!!

I thought I better add some more! I love old recipes, buttons, vintage linens, candy of any kind, teas, coffees and anything hand made. I love hand made things, it's so personal and shows such great care. It doesn't have to be perfect!! I love aprons and love making them. I love pencils, bookmarks, and making journal covers and all things fun!!!

I also crochet and knit and hand embroidery. Right now I am learning to make Amigurumi. I think this is going to be very fun! I love learning new things. I also Digital Scrapbook, no mess! Also getting ready to learn how to make sock dolls and that's because they are just too darn cute!! I have to add that I have also turned into a matchbox junkie!!! and now a felt food and polymer clay junkie!

Comment: i was woken up at 7 this morning by the postman attempting to bash my door in but this package was well worth it. it was great to wake up to such a wonderful swap. you went way beyond the swap requirements by making both my little boys bags, catering them so well to their likes. they really love them and jack is insisting on taking his to school this morning. you also included loads of extras for me and i love them all especially the spoon rest =) i really wish i could give you a lot more hearts for the swap, you really made my day. by the way i just want to say how well made the bags are, very professional. thank you

The "Tiffany" pouch it came in is wonderful too :) And the extras, WOW, I love them all. The pouch is beautiful and a style that I have never made. The crocheted food is so cute, and I will have so much fun with the fabric you sent. And the recipe for coffee cake looks really good. Thanks so much for EVERYTHING--I love it all!

You did such a nice job on the pot holder - a lighthouse is so perfect for my kitchen, my kitchen has lighthouse everything including the place settings. You are so wonderful. I love the knit sugar cookie pot holder, little tin filled with polymer donuts and chocolate chip cookies, and the felt donut! I love the beautiful beads you used on that.
