I'm a 26 year old chef and child care worker from Hobart, Tasmania. I've got a small business here where i go from school to school, setting up kitchen gardens and teaching to kids to cook with what they grow. I'm also working for a great program where kids from the local highschools participate in the preparation and service of meals to the elderly every other week.

I've been selling my photographs, paintings and hand made crafty bits and bobs since i was about ten years old, but i've always had more fun giving things away.

So if you're my partner expect recipes, felted friends, flower seeds, dried flowers, pretty little charms, sweet votives and all things lovely. I tend to stay away from trashy, flashy items and prefer a softer touch ... i'm not talking lace stitched to lace but i'm always very careful when considering the materials i use and recycle when ever i can.

I've only ever participated in swaps with friends i know here in hobart (infact, it was one of them who pointed me to this amazing community) - but i'm so excited about the possibility of sharing with a whole network of new friends.

I tend to shy away form the idea of telling people what not to send me, as i think part of the fun of these swaps, is we are stepping into the unknown and sharing our selves openly.

the only things i truely can't cope with are items related to faith (unless swap specific ie: shrines, angel postcards etc), non-organic make up as my skin is so sensitive and tacky trashy items with disney or cartoon characters (again, unless swap specific.)
