October 5, 2017: I received a great autumn themed pocket letter!! I have no idea who it's from. It wasn't a swap item. Because I don't know who it's from, I'm posting a general THANK YOU on all of my snail mail sites that I belong to so that whoever my mystery sender is will know I received it and appreciate it! I loved it! It had paint sample color cards, stickers, ephemera, and washi samples! No note or letter, no indication who it was from!
September 20, 2017: Life is finally slowing down a bit for me! Yay! We are getting into my favorite season of the year. I LOVE all things autumn!! If you get my name for a general swap, please keep in mind...autumn, hot tea, and Thanksgiving related items are at the top of my favorites list right now!
PLEASE NOTE: I am allergic to corn (and all corn derivitives), dairy, cigarette smoke, and perfume. Because of this, I respectfully ask that food items and heavily scented items (Including those with a smokey/cigarette smell be left out of swaps if you are my partner.
Before I tell you about me, I want to say thank you to all the lovely ladies & gentlemen running the swaps. I've enjoyed them. Also, thank you for the 5s and hearts that I've received. I am horrible at thanking each one individually for them but want to acknowledge how much I appreciate them!
I am 42 years old! I am very happily engaged. I am currently in need of a double-lung transplant, and have been waiting for new lungs for 21 years.
I try to stay as positive as I can. I laugh as often as I can. Spending time with friends & family is the most important thing to me.
Because I am waiting for the transplant, I have to be extremely careful to avoid catching viruses/illnesses. Because of this I'm pretty much homebound most days during cold/flu season. I joined Swap Bot to hopefully help keep the cabin fever and winter blues away!
COLORS: I love all colors except a camouflage pattern. Anything else goes!!
DRINKS FOR SWAPS: Any fruit flavored herbal hot tea, Any hot apple cider, Kool Aid,
*Please nothing with any artificial sweeteners in it. They give me migraines.
MUSIC: The music I listen to depends on my mood. I think this holds true for many people. What I listen to the most often is... Oldies (from the 1940s to the 1990s) Easy Listening Country '80s Favorites Christmas songs (mostly traditional versions)
Some of my favorite music artists are: Barry Manilow, Cher, Anne Murray, John Denver, Neil Diamond, Reba McEntire, Martina McBride, Vince Gill, Straight No Chaser, Celtic Thunder, Bing Crosby, The Carpenters,

HOLIDAYS: I absolutely love all things Christmas!! I watch Christmas movies in September. I listen to Christmas music in October. I can't get enough! I love sending and receiving Christmas cards! I love to ride around in the evenings looking at all the beautiful Christmas lights people put up. I love the Christmas magic and all that goes with it!!
I also love Halloween! I love to see the little kids in their costumes (so cute!), and because I have a horrible candy addiction my absolute favorite part of Halloween is the candy that I'm still able to eat despite my allergies (there are a select few things I can still have thankfully).
I have a love for many things! However there are a few that I absolutely cannot live without and cannot get enough of...
Pens (especially fine point gel pens), Stationery (prefer lined), Pretty envelopes (plain white is boring lol), Stickers (any and all kinds), Washi Tape (can never find the right design), Hot tea, Scrapbook paper (for envelope making)
This section will probably change fairly often. This list includes those things which eventhough I may love, I have enough of these items to last a long time and have no more room to put anything else! Sticky Notes, Stickers, Notecards
Things I would prefer not to get from my swap partners.... Anything macabre, gorey (bloody), horror related, Spiders & Snakes, Circuses, Anything spicy hot, Sad Movies & Books
