I'm a 40something old mum and have been married for 12 years. I have 3 kids; a 10yr old son and 5yr old twins [a boy and girl]. At mo, I'm a SAHM as the twins just started BIG school (6 whole hours of alone and/or creative time!! :D) My daughter is a typical girly girl; loves all things pink, purple, sparkly/glitterly stuff, princesses and fairies.

The boys are typical boyish boys; love extreme sports and Ben10 aliens.Bless them LOL.

I love crafting; designing, teaching, reading, learning all about the different types or combinations of craft techniques etc.

My main craft at the mo, is jewellery-making and painting but I'm open and willing to try any other crafts [I can do on my dinning table].

Swapbot has open my eyes to a new crafting world and the chance gain some penpals [hint, hint ; ) I love meeting new people and I'm always up for penpaling or private swaps :D

I tend to mix and match techniques a lot e.g fabric weave in my wire jewellery, jewellery wire in my art dolls, fabric in my paintings etc.

Its hard to say what I dont like as I usually find a use for things I'm not too keen on.

I love all kinds of music [ from latin samba to old skool 80's] but depends mostly on my mood; classical for when I'm creating, Hip Hop/ R&B, Rap for when I'm painting etc I'm a spirit-filled born again christian so christian music in the above styles are my absolute all time fave.

I love going to the library, I tend to go with the flow and read whatever book/magz catches my eye [usually craft]. I now have enough craft books to open my own library, so my hubby says. PS.. I'm still collecting.

At mo: teen movies, romantic comedies, action movies or whatever holds my attention for the first five minutes.

Cooking progs and travelling documentaries.

Mixed media art/collage, Jewllery-making, Felt making, Sewing [still learning to use a sewing machine], Repurposed/recycle craft etc to mention a few

FABRIC~ LIKES: I like just about anything in shabby chic colours and style, Damask, Jacquard, Vintage lace or fabric etc. Some of my fave designers are

Spicy food/Seasonings and Hot sauce [not tabasco sauce] the kind that makes your eyes water & your tongue numb lol.

FOOD~ DISLIKES: I will try most things once so items listed below I have already tried once or twice and definately don't like them.

tea, fruit or coffee but will drink white or green tea

white or dark chocolate,

whole nuts or fruits in chocolate,

food with artificial sweetners etc, fizzy drinks.

My favourite colours are turquoise, purple, chocolate/beige/cream or shabby chic colours.

Funky and unusual yarns,cant get enough.

Dotee supplies like scraps of fabric, felts, lace, leather, ribbons or buttons, broken jewellery or glass beads, accessories e.g someone sent me a fine collection of belt buckles etc.

Unusual colours of Embossing Powders, even just a teaspoon in a bag will do (but please label WHICH it is)

Glass glitters - cant get them in the UK

Large Punchies in Flowers, Hearts, Butterflies, Dragonflies and Fairies.

Metal embellishments e.g antiqued brass or copper or gold

Bath products - floral scents, vanilla, strawberry, mulberry [not lavender or strong scents, they are ok but have enough]
