I am an elementary art teacher living in Michigan with my husband, two cats and two dogs (that's my little dog Toaster in the photo below). I love to draw, paint, read & garden.

I'm taking a little break from SwapBot, but will return in the summer when I have a little more time.

Strictly Ballroom, Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind, Donnie Darko, Amores Perros, Chasing Amy, Anchorman, Garden State, Keeping the Faith, Heavenly Creatures, The Virgin Suicides, The Black Stallion, The Notebook and Never Been Kissed (my favorite "guilty pleasure" movie of all time!)

I admit that I'm a T.V. addict. At the end of the summer I plan to give up cable (yikes). I do like: The Office, 30 Rock, True Blood, and most anything on HGTV or Food Network.

I like making all kinds of "stuff" but my favorite things include:

• Gocco printing
• Stamp making (carving eraser stamps)
• Making cards
• Embroidery
• Crocheting
• Sock animals
• Scrapbooking (well . . . more like collecting scrapbooking supplies :)

I just discovered matchbook swaps - they are so much fun!

• Handmade Items
• Sharpie markers & felt-tip pens
• Moleskin sketchbooks
• Doodling!
• Thrift stores & garage sales (I love vintage Pyrex)
• Old keys
• Digital photography
• Designs with birds, flowers or small fuzzy animals
• Cats, dogs, foxes, squirrels & birds
• Office supplies (Post-Its, notepads, funky binder clips)
• Brightly colored and patterned scrapbooking paper
• Bright bold colors: teal, lime green, hot pink, orange, red
• Fat quarter fabrics (especially Japanese fabric w/ cute animals)
• Embroidery floss
• Buttons in all shapes & sizes
• Ribbon
• Glass beads (I love lampwork beads)
• Kawaii
• Bento
• Chocolate, coffee & cupcakes
• 1" pins (I'm starting a collection)
• Anything that sparkles
• I'm a teacher so anything small that could be but in a "reward jar" - stickers, small erasers, pencils.

I'm not a very picky person, but there are a few things that I could do without:

• Religious or political items
• Dolls, clowns or anything else that could be the subject of a bad 80's horror movie
• "Country" decor (roosters, chickens, cows)
