AUGUST 201 sorry folks! wasn't able to log in for two whole weeks :( i'm only sorting through messages right now. i'm also catching up to ratings as well as follow ups for swaps that i haven't been rated on. thank you to those who have messaged me so far! please let me know if you haven't received from me and i will gladly resend! unfortunately it looks like 3 of my recent stuffed envie swaps may not have arrived. those are the most frustrating to get lost! but nevertheless, i will keep my promise to resend!

JULY 2010 i recently had my first bad experience with a swap host. of all the years i've been on swap-bot,i've never come across this type of problem. TO HOSTS OF SWAPS I'VE SIGNED UP FOR: i appreciate your taking the time to make sure that i am a good swapper despite the few 3s and 1s i received IN THE PAST. i can't get rid of those swaps because some of those swappers aren't even active anymore. unless i can ask the administrators to remove them manually, i will have to live with those poor ratings. however, i have swapped significantly since november '09, being rated ONLY 5s since then, as well as receiving hearts. the comments/ratings are also very indicative, in my opinion. i have participated in pretty much the same types of swaps (lettersets, postcards, stuffed envies, notecards) which are my favourites. hopefully that will be sufficient to trust that i'm not going to flake on those types of swaps. also, i'm a postcrossing member. i wouldn't voluntarily send out mail if i didn't value swapping. lastly, if you notice on my profiles comments, i have sent out random packages of fbs which means that not only am i not a flaker, but i don't mind sending mail on top of swaps i've committed to. thank you for reading.

NOVEMBER 2009 i have been on swap-bot since 2006. my bad ratings are from a while ago. i had resent my outstanding swaps from then but have not heard back or ratings have not been made. since they are so old i don't know how i could follow up. i want to start swapping again and get my rating to go up. please note that i have had many previous hearts and 5s. slowly but surely i hope to regain a good swapper status. if you're a host and are unsure about having me in a swap, it's fine. but please be nice. there are many of us that are in this situation. i'm not a bad swapper, just circumstances led to some poor ratings. if it's any help, please see my postcrossing profile above. i'm active on there and the forums. i'm also on sendsomething.net. i wouldn't be on such a site if i didn't care about swapping.
