hey y'all,

i'm finally back and i would very much like to redeem myself for what has been a terrible past couple months for me (starting pretty much in the middle of november). i'm hoping that my track record (albeit only a few 3s and one 1 rating) can help me regain my status back after disappointing so so many of my partners.

where shall i begin?

first off, i'm going to do my best to apologize personally to my partners, and then post an explanation on my profile.

i was on a 6 month contract at work and was doing well up until the last month before my contract renewal. there was a great chance that i was not going to get my contract extended if i had kept messing up like that (i work in the finance industry where precision is key, and i was just getting all numbers wrong...i was unfocused and a wreck). my hours at work are insane...i'm usually out the door by 7:30 and not getting back til 9pm. i then have to deal with some family issues on almost a daily basis, so that takes quite a toll.

i actually have not been online much the last few weeks since i have no time and no energy, and hoping not to sound dramatic, but i did feel guilty about not being able to contact my partners, but i have so much going on. i haven't even had a chance to sit at my computer to read the HUNDREDS of unanswered emails. the stress from my work, family, failing a semester at college, not sure if i was gonna have a job the next month...it caused a great sense of chaos for me.

i recently got my contract extended at work and my mother will be temporarily moving cities so as to alleviate some of my stress. i'm slowly regaining focus...

how does this fit with swapping? last week i managed to send out a handful of swaps, and i'm doing my best to fullfil the ones i have outstanding. it'll take a couple weeks, but it's going to happen. i can only ask for patience, understanding and forgiveness...i apologize for the wait, and the sob story, but there isn't much i can do except to fully explain my situation.

i love swapping and had put forth effort and care, which the comments on my ratings should corroborate. it's time for me to pick up the pieces, fulfill my past obligations, and move forward. i will seriously consider my swapping situation when the dust has cleared, knowing full well that the red flags will be loud and clear for future swap hosts.
