Hi!
In a nutshell - I'm a Christian stay-at-home mom, homeschool my kids, and in love with my hubby of 22 years.
I'm a kid at heart. I'm so thankful to have kids not only for the privilege of raising them but because it gives me a good excuse to enjoy the kid stuff right along with them. ;)
I like to smile.
So many likes, lol:
Tea parties, tea party recipes, reading, books, vintage women's magazines and cookbooks, I like to collect tried and true family favorites from different people, kids, babies, Harajuku girls, vintage, ballet, Zumba, fairies, garden gnomes, American Girl dolls, cook books, pretty jewelry, handmade everything, music, scrapbooking, cardmaking, sewing, Barbie, Kelly dolls, Fischer Price Little People, vintage toys, flowers, garden decorations, swapping....
I have a weakness and cherish children's books. Here are just a few of my favorite books and/or authors:
Books by Hans Christian Anderson, Winnie-the Pooh, The Little House on the Prairie series, The Bernstein Bears series, Madeline, The American Girl series, author Keith Baker, Chicken Soup & Rice (by Maurice Sendak, Where the Wild Things Are, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Bread & Jam for Francis, Imogen's Antlers, The Giving Tree, If You Give A Mouse A Cookie, Harold and the Purple Crayon, Harry the Dirty Dog, The Velveteen Rabbit
Here are a few sewing ideas I have never done before but have set a goal of learning and giving them a try sometime in this new year.
Make for the 18" American Girl dolls: 1. A doll quilt 2. A wedding dress complete with veil 3. A cowgirl outfit 3. Every single Disney princess dress/costume. 4. 50's poodle skirt
