I live in Melbourne Australia, but originally from Adelaide South Australia. I enjoy genealogy, reading, music, photography, art, shabby chic, french provincial style. I enjoy visiting country towns with strange names : ) just to see what is there (not very much usually). I LOVE poetry! I have studied literature and visual arts theory at university and absolutely love anything arts related. I love bookshops, new or secondhand and love to hunt for an antiquarian bargain. I also have an interest in design and particularly in iconic furniture, especially chairs. I have been very happy to discover ATC's and decorative matchboxes here on swap-bot and I enjoy making and swapping those. If you are ever stuck for something to send, a matchbox or ATC decorated with the theme of your country/city/town would be fantastic to receive. If anyone has any old 'Arizona Highways' magazines, or pictures from them, I would just love those! I love all kinds of stationery and cosmetics. Clocks! I love clocks! Where most people hate 'ticking' I love it and find it very comforting. I guess it reminds me of my Grandmother's house :) I like 'bird' images and have a nice collection of porcelain birds which I have placed stategically in every room of my house. (ok not the loo) :)

I LUV Jarvis Cocker! and also his band PULP. I also like KEANE, I would love some Jarvis, Pulp or KEANE ATCs. or a handmade badge/button or a decorated matchbox.. I would make my own but it might look like I have an obsession...'cough' ;) I also like Josh Groban, Bee Gees, Shannon Noll, Crowded House, Split Enz, Neil Diamond, Israeli pop music

LOTR Trilogy, Harry Potter, The Court Jester, On a clear day (you can see forever), Which way to the Front, The disorderly orderly, RV, Labyrinth,The never ending story, anything
with Bette Midler in it

Prisoner (cell block H); Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy; The mighty boosh; Coronation Street; ; Masterchef; Great British Menu; Who do you think you are?; Alan Carr Chatty Man; Project Runway; Angry Boys; Summer Heights High; We can be heroes; Later with Jools Holland, ;Lark Rise to Candleford; Ancient aliens; House Gift; 60 minute makeover; Lost in Space!!! ... I detest Homer Simpson! :P

Crochet is the only 'craft' that I am confident with. I like painting and drawing (but I'm certainly not an 'artist' by any means). I do enjoy photography and using computer graphics programs and like to make digital art. I really want to get into making 'altered books' but so far all the ideas I have in my head and all the stuff I have collected to start, haven't amounted to anything because I find it too difficult to destroy a book ;) Update: I finally made 2 book sculptures! :)

Sorry if this sounds tough, but I just have no use for these things and have sadly had to actually put some swaps directly in the bin :/
I sincerely make my very best efforts to send out a good swap to my partner. I am not hard to please nor do I expect to receive expensive items. I have never sent something that looks like it has been discovered by doing a good rummage through my old, creased and dusty stuff, or just a rummage in general. Sadly I have received swaps like that and it is very disappointing.
