UPDATE: As of 5/6/09: My father passed away and was buried this last weekend. In the past couple of weeks, someone PM'd me and said that they hadn't received their bookmarks. I apologize. I haven't had a lot of time to invest in swap bot lately. I want to make sure everyone gets their swap materials, so I will be resending the pen pal letters, postcard/bookmark and craft newbie swap items in the next couple of weeks. If you already received your stuff, it'll be a bonus for you. I just want to make sure everyone is good. Thank you again for your patience.

I'm just your average married, conservative, southern, city boy, Christian (L.D.S.), 30 something father of the world's most awesome family, husband to the best woman on earth, giving it his all to enjoy life and make the world a better place.

I'm active in my church, and my hobbies include: turtles, training my dog, shooting hoops, doing-it-my-way, fatherhood, married life, learning anything and everything, photography, and portraiture.

I listen to a lot of public radio, love chocolate and do not drink tea or coffee. I also collect "how-to" books on every subject.

I enjoy learning other languages and culture, and as a result speak fluent Portuguese, Spanish and some German.

I promise to rate every package fairly, and will ALWAYS follow through on my swaps. If I sign up for a swap, I intent to follow through.

If you are doing a swap with me, please fill out your profile. with more than just your favorite movie, book music and television shows. If I don't know the books/artist/movies/etc that you reference, I will not be able to tailor my swap items. I would rather see what you like to collect, your favorite colors, where you live or want to live, your pets, etc. Paint me a small picture of your life, even if generic, and I will be better able to send you something you would like to receive. Otherwise, I'll just have to guess, and that might disappoint you.
