I'm a crafty chick who's been married to my awesome husband for the past 18 years, our boys are 17 and 12 and we live in the SE corner of Washington state. It feels like I have done some kind of crafting for most of my life, knitting, crochet, sewing...I can fake most things pretty easily, but my passions right now are photography and quilting. I adore the world of color and all the possibility that entails...

I have a pretty wide preference for music, the soundtrack from Out of Africa, Seether, Amy Grant, Breaking Benjamin, The Eagles, Ozzy, Aerosmith even a little country you name it, it's probably downloaded onto my Nano!

When I stop long enough to read, it might be something from Joyce Meyer, Janet Evanovich, Stephanie Meyer or the Bible, but right now I'd rather be sewing...

Can't say that I "watch" a lot of tv, but listen to it while I do some hand sewing: Enjoying Everyday Life (before work in the morning), Sons of Anarchy (w/my hubby) ,HogQwest (again w/ the boys), CSI Miami & Las Vegas, Food Network...

Favorite movies include, Hope Floats, Under the Tuscan Sun, Sweet November, Practical Magic, Cold Mountain, Last of the Mohicans, even the Fast & the Furious!!!

Right now quilting and photography are my first loves, but I crochet, cross stitch and knit also, I've even faked watercolors pretty well, but it's not something I have had a lot of time for.

I have just discovered the world of Material Obsession and just bought one of their books, I love the wonderful bright colors and their bold combinations. Kaffe is starting to grow on me also, I really love his fabrics in applique, the women down under are doing some pretty exciting work in that arena and that has inspired me to give needle-turn a whirl!
