Hi there! My name's Moriah, and I'm a girl living on the greener side of life. I'm a feminist, I speak Japanese, and I play drums+piano+guitar. I'm abnormally attached to a Japanese comic collection from the 80's (these things are older than me... (-_-;), I practically live at Barnes & Noble, and I have an ability to open my wallet and find more money than I thought I had in there (spooky, right?). I could be stranded on a deserted island with an iPod, a sketchpad, and a book and I would be perfectly happy, although let's hope that doesn't happen anytime soon. :)
My hobbies generally consist of (but are not limited to) politics, drawing (comics and inking are my specialty), learning languages, pen-paling, and photography.
Some of my work:

I'm really happy with anything, but you can make my smile ten times wider by sending items pertaining to:
-Music (I could discuss music and its abundance of genres for hours. I'm generally an indie/alt. rock gal, but I have a soft spot for 60's-90's, rap, folk, and orchestra.)
-Asian or Middle-Eastern culture
-History
-Manga/comics (If you draw your own comics, you can send those, too.)
-Pushing Daisies
-Disneyworld (especially Epcot)
-Religion (Any or all)
-Political (leaders, ideas, issues, etc...)
-Astrology (I'm a Capricorn)
-Stationary
-Henna (or body-art-related items)
-Pandas
-Halloween/Goth
-Asian candy
-Interesting, funny, or bizarre postcards; normal ones are good, too, though.
-San Francisco
-Feminism
-Polaroid, photobooth, or purikura pictures
-Teen Titans
-Urban Outfitters-esque style
-Zooey Deschanel
That's all I can think of for now. If you happen to have an item you think I'd like but isn't on the list, send it anyway. I like almost everything. :)
I read books like there's no tomorrow, so here's a condensed version:
"Brave New World" (Aldous Huxley), "The Shadow of The Wind" (Carlos Ruiz Zafon), "White Oleander", "Paint it Black" (Both are by Janet Fitch), "Full Frontal Feminism" (Jessica Valenti), "He's a Stud, She's a Slut, and 49 Other Double Standards Every Woman Should Know" (Jessica Valenti), "Slaughterhouse 5" (Kurt Vonnegut), "Memoirs of a Geisha" (Arthur Golden), "The Picture of Dorian Gray" (Oscar Wilde), and anything by Markus Zusak
Manga: Death Note, Bleach, RE:Play, Eyeshield 21, Dramacon, Nightschool, Bizenghast, Beast Master, My Heavenly Hockey Club....
First and foremost: Pushing Daisies and anything on the USA Network (Royal Pains, Suits, Law&Order SVU, House M.D., etc.), The Twilight Zone, Weeds, Supernatural, Chelsea Lately, and Will &Grace
I could watch CNN all day long. :)
This brings the same problem as the one with books: there are much too many.
The Smiths, Best Coast, Neko Case, Metric, Broken Social Scene, Tokyo Police Club, Los Campesinos!, Laura Marling, Hole, Bikini Kill, Stars, She&Him, Florence + The Machine, Meiko, Company of Thieves, Pharoahe Monch, The Arctic Monkeys, Mos Def, Shiny Toy Guns, Melee, Birthday Massacre, Grizzly Bear, 2pac, Goo Goo Dolls, Simon and Garfunkel, The Donnas, Bombay Bicycle Club, Mapei, John Legend, The Temper Trap, N.E.R.D., Count Basie, Lupe Fiasco, Sondre Lerche, Noah and the Whale, Camera Obscura, Sleigh Bells, Raveonettes, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Notorious B.I.G., The Hush Sound, Phoenix, Bat For Lashes, Bob Dylan, and the list goes on...
Across The Universe, Rocket Science, (500) Days of Summer, Jennifer's Body, Whip It, Scott Pilgrim, Donnie Darko, Heathers, American Beauty, Wristcutters: A Love Story, Gran Torino, Memoirs of a Geisha, About a Boy
