Hi there! My name's Moriah, and I'm a girl living on the greener side of life. I have a long-haired dachshund who is more human than me, I speak Japanese, I like to cook (even though I'm not the best at it; I just love food in general), and I play drums+piano. I love indie bands, manga, reading, the color green, history, Postcrossing, pictures of other countries, religious art, Epcot in Disneyworld, Christmas/city lights, Nightmare Before Christmas, feminist activism, Pushing Daisies (the tv show), and nature. I could be stranded on a deserted island with an iPod, a sketchpad, and a book and I would be perfectly happy.

My hobbies generally consist of (but are not limited to) politics, drawing comics, learning languages, pen-paling, and photography.

I may be new to Swap-Bot, but I'm no flaker. I've been working through Postcrossing for months and have not had a single misplaced card or problem. If my package does not reach you or arrives in damaged shape, let me know and I'll try to make up for it.

I'm really happy with anything, but you can make my smile ten times wider by sending items pertaining to:

"The Shadow of The Wind" (Carlos Ruiz Zafon), "Memoirs of a Geisha" (Arthur Golden), "White Oleander", "Paint it Black" (Both are by Janet Fitch), "Full Frontal Feminism" (Jessica Valenti), and anything by Markus Zusak

Mangas: (of course the obvious like:) Death Note, Bleach, (and then the more off-the-wall or random:) RE:Play, Dramacon, Nightschool, Bizenghast, My Heavenly Hockey Club....

I've began reading more classics off of www.collegeboard.com's 101 Great Books list; so far, I've been quite happy with my purchases. :)

First and foremost: Pushing Daisies (LOVEloveLOVE) and anything on the USA Network (Royal Pains, Burn Notice, Law&Order, Psyche, Monk, In Plain Sight, House M.D., etc.), Chelsea Lately, Lie to Me*, and Will &Grace

I could watch CNN all day long. :)

This brings the same problem as the one with books: too many.
