About me!

Love making cards and scrapbooking- have a cricut and big kick- loooove embossing,
Will never replicate anything I make-one only.

Also make one of a kind jewelry- love stones, pearls and Swarovski. Would like to specialize in wedding jewelry.

Make my own earrings and clasps because of metal allergies.
Love to use "found" objects in my creations- things that were never intended for the use I put them to!
Have difficulty planning projects - just wing it.

Have just started making ATC's- so fun!! just what I need- another addiction!!

I totally love making all sorts of decorated tags- I need to find a better way to display my collection of tags, skinnys and ATCs

I have been doing zentangle-like things for years- just did not know they had a name.

More of me

I am so excited !!!that my daughter, Caiti, has joined swapbot- her sb name is @Arietor My sister is@Patumma and she has become a great and prolific swapper!!

Love to -and often have- stray people in our lives and home.

Spiritual but not "religous". Have difficulty with organized religions.

I am not easily offended so if you want to push it a bit with a swap- go for it!!

Diabetic- would prefer sugarfree goodies but love others too. Just because I shouldn't have sweets, does not mean I won't enjoy them!

Have my nose pierced and a tattoo on my arm. Part of it says"Everything For A Reason" because I need to remind myself of this. I always said I would not get another tattoo but want a peacock feather on my shoulder

Keep in touch with my farflung family on facebook and love to be able to know what they are up to. I miss them a lot

Have believed in reincarnation since I was very small- So much of it just makes sense to me. It helps me cope with the crap of life. I badly want to do a past life regression to see if where I feel that I have been is accurate

Someday I will have purple streaks!

I am a Trekkie- My maiden name was Kirk and my dog was Worf- used to have a lizard called Nelix

Have many "OOOHH Shiny" moments

My background is Italian and Lebanese and some day I want to go back to where my families came from

Am growing older but not gracefully- I do not do anything else gracefully- why that?

One of the most interesting books I have ever read is Home To War- it is the story of the Vietnam Veterans movement- I am Canadian but have a loved one who is a vet.

Please note!!

Canada Post is slow [and expensive ]so please lt me know if there is a problem with anything you should have received from me!! With international packages, sending air mail is VERY expensive- sending surface is the only reasonable way for me. With this, delivery times are unpredictable-from 10 days to 14 weeks. I have learned a lesson this year and will try to send time-sensitive swaps earlier. Sorry to those who have been inconvenienced and thank you for your patience.

I may press sent later at night and because of my western time zone, it may appear as late.

Because of my past experiences with postal snafus,I am very patient and understand that things happen to make swaps late but for me communication is essential!! If I need to chase you and inquire about a swap, I will likely rate a 3!

I try to rate as soon as i receive but If I have not rated you, I would appreciate a reminder as well.I am a procrastinator so I may send close to or on the deadline date but I promise I will never flake.

I hate paying Canada Post more than necessary so try to eliminate extra packaging. I would rather include extra useful stuff than cardboard!

I have just acquired a whack[ the precise technical term!] of postcards- from Calgary- city and Stampede, Alberta mountains and such. If anyone is interested in a swap please let me know!
I also have a quantity of vintage music- much from '40's & 50's. if you want some, let me know.

Favorite Television

Glee!!!! I am officially addicted to The Glee Project!! Big Bang Theory, the NCIS's, Good Wife,Touch, elementary, Modern Family cracks me up! Eureka ,Warehouse 13, Smash and The Voice.
My son and DH have turned our old desktop into a "media server" and between multiple components and a herd of remotes, I can barely turn the TV on ( very embarrassing to admit)! So- Netflicks rocks. Very little reality TV- life gives me more reality than I need already.

boo-> YEAH

Thanks for the kind words! Now I'm racking my brain trying to remember what I made for you! I know I considered many different options but can't remember which one I landed on. I hope that doesn't drive me nuts before Christmas gets here! lol

Whatever it is, I hope you like it. :-)
