I live with my husband and three cats, and am the proud grandmother of three grandsons.

I am usually working on several art projects at any given time (see Fav Crafts section below). Other interests are genealogy and reading (true crime, mysteries, thrillers, home decorating, cookbooks, art, history).

I collect vintage books, and ephemera of all kinds. Some of my favorites are: the "Old West", especially the illustrations and old children's books on the subject; old magazine clothing illustrations or patterns from the 40s and 50s; ledger paper; vintage floral, bird, and scenic postcards; old book illustrations and pages; cabinet cards; maps; photos of old farmhouses...the more rundown the better; farm-related pictures, especially cows, chickens, roosters, fields, and barns; wallpaper, especially from 1930's through 1950s; rusty metal; vintage circus illustrations; old rhinestone jewelry.

Other likes: Pink, lavender, jewel tones, vintage greens; the beach, lakes, streams; birds; unusual playing cards; old B&W photos of people; vintage floral items; old typewritten documents; old handwriting; old envelopes or letters; beads; small tins and boxes; rusty things.

Dislikes: girly or cutesy stuff; 1970s or 1980s things; stickers; Asian themes.

Mostly 50s and 60s rock and roll. Some jazz, blues, new age, country, easy listening.

I love so many old 50s/60s movies it's hard to remember them all. Some favorites are Roman Holiday, Picnic, Long Hot Summer, The Ghost and Mr. Chicken, the Doris Day/Rock Hudson movies, and 50's westerns.

The only time I watch TV is during dinner, and then it's always old TV...usually Perry Mason, The Odd Couple, Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock, or Columbo.
