Plain White Ts
The Beatles
I DISLIKE Rap and Country
I love The Princess Bride as one of those movies I can watch anytime and repeatedly.
Dogma
A Christmas Story
I Heart Huckabees
Little Miss Sunshine
The Nightmare Before Christmas (I love Tim Burton)
Currently - we are watching a lot of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - my son loves this movie!
Lost is the only show I watch right now - I have given up the rest of TV, but I am still watching Lost (well when it starts up again in January)
Sewing, Repurposing/Recycling things I have, jewelry, scrapbooking and some papercrafts
I love retro/vintage prints in loud and vibrant colors. I love 70s style prints, as well as Batiks and current geometric prints.
My favorite color is purple;
I love spending time with my 2 year old son and exploring the world together.
I practice attachment parenting including term breastfeeding (aka extended breastfeeding), co-sleeping, babywearing, etc.
I believe in living a very eco-friendly sustainable lifestyle - I try to reduce/reuse/repurpose and recycle anything that I have so please do not be offended if you get reused packaging material including envelopes.
I am fairly creative and like to be inspired by other people as well.
I am a vegan for ethical, health and environmental reasons - I do not eat any animals or their products (like eggs or dairy) and I also do not wear any animal products like wool, leather, silk, or suede.
Also, due to a gluten intolerance, we eat no wheat, barley, rye (or anything with derivatives from those things.)
I make my own bath and beauty products like lotions, deodorant, scrubs, facial toner, etc. I even started making my own tooth powder so I do not visit the health and beauty aisles at stores anymore.
I enjoy fruit and herbal teas, and avoid caffeinated teas. I don't like licorice/anise flavors, but am willing to try them in a blend.
I might be a grown up, but I still love stuffed animals. I also love dragons and have since I can remember.
My favorite food treat is different kinds of dates. I am pretty hard to find food for because we eat a whole food, fresh food diet - no packaged items and only plant based foods. We have given up sugar in our house an have all improved our health tremendously since this change.
I love pens! All kinds of pens and especially purple ink - the finer the point the better.
I like yard gnomes - the more unique the better.
I like the macabre - Anne Rice Vampire stuff, Nightmare Before Christmas, Dragons, witches & wizadry stories, fantasy, etc.
I love PJs - XL so they are comfy and roomy
Animal Hair/Fur. Items from a smoking household -- everyone in my household is highly sensitive to cigarette smoke.
Please nothing with:
leather or suede
religious icons
cowboys
fishing
commercialism (like Disney, Spongebob, etc.)
Not to be picky, but other things that would not really be worth sending to me:
Bath and Beauty products (I make my own)
Food, Candy, Gum, etc
Aug 2 Due to school, an just life in general, I am behind in ratings - if you sent me a swap and are waiting for a rating, please be patient with me. I hope to catch up this week. Thank you!

I so totally agree with you again! So far I have attended 2 births and assisted with all of the prenatal care for these women. Its great! The women were so understanding when I walked in with a cane. But as a nurse I can't get a job because of my disabilities. They really don't affect my midwifery but I guess running ragged after patients for 8 to 12 hours up to 60 hours a week would be a problem LOL
Welcome to Thrift Store Junkies :)
Thanks for joining my group! Please invite others, too! :D
Hey,
I'm your partner for the Ultimate Playlist swap. I will be sending out your package tomorrow. Just wanted to let you know.

As a trainee midwife Im very impressed with your commitment to attachment parenting! We advise new mothers to do this if they can because it's the way that we evolved to care for our infants. Many moms just don't want to take the time and (at least in the USA) I believe that a lot of our current teen and young adult problems can be attributed to it.
