8/24/11: I have been offline a few days and got delayed assigning a few swaps. My four year old daughter fell and suffered major head trauma. She had to get 7 internal stitches and 2 external stitches. All swaps are now assigned. I'm sorry if I disappointed anyone. I needed to be with her and got back here as quick as I could. Thanks for the understanding everyone. ~~~

Swap-Bot is about communication as well as swapping. If you owe me a swap and are delayed - just tell me. Don't mark it 'sent' and then it never arrives and I wonder why. I'm very easy going and I know that life comes before swapping. Mailing by a deadline is nice and important - but, if you can't for any reason... just send me a message & tell me when you can send! Thanks.

** In mid July to early August I was having some issues again with my post office. I have started using stamps.com service and it seems to have improved things. However, if you are missing any swap from me, just message me and I will re-send. I would never cheat anyone a swap. I am a top user of this site.

I'm a 38 year old stay at home mother of 4 - 2 girls and 2 boys - 15, 9, 6,and 4. I enjoy penpals and swapping with friends and in my yahoo groups. I am an honest swapper and loyal friend. :)

PLEASE always write on your swap which swap it is. Lately I have received many swaps not labeled and it takes me much more time to rate this way! I will always rate you. However - save us both headches and include a note with what swap you sent to me.

It seems a fellow swap-botter has a vendetta against me because we run similiar swaps as we both like postcards in an envelope. While I never swapped with her, she spams my profile & adds untrue comments about me - ButterflyDreams . It is so sad to have haters like this on swap-bot. This site is to swap - not about drama or stress from strangers. When I contacted her, she would not even respond. I guess she feels 'postcards in an envelope' is an original concept to her alone. There are hundreds of swaps like this on swap-bot. Beware of her and don't believe anything she writes about me or others without seeing with your own eyes first. It is people like this who ruin the swap-bot site & experience. I have since blocked her.

For postcards - please send me scenic, beautiful cards. Places. Monuments. Beaches. Rare or exotic or interesting cards. Pinks, purples, gorgeous fIowers, maps, cars or trucks (I have young sons) ect. I do not like homemade if they are simply cut pieces of paper. If they are nice with work put into them, they are fine. Please no ad or free cards at all. I dislike animal cards, but will accept them if you can't find anything else suitable. I am a serious postcard collector with a nice collection and want to add your card into it. I prefer postcards unwritten in envelope if at all possible. Infact, any card sent unwritten in an envelope (store bought) automatically receives a heart. Too many cards sent 'naked' arrive to me damaged and uncollectable - I'm always disappointed by what the postal machines do to naked cards these days.

So many.... I love all beautiful things! ~~

Scents - daffofil, cucumber melon, apple, lavender, ambrosia, freesia, anything crisp and fun.

Make-up - no red or dark colors for lipstick, but enjoy all others. Likes black mascara. Multi-colored mid-tone eye shadows. Peachy blush. nice lip gloss. Don't need any lotions - I have tons right now. Please don't send them to me. I enjoy shower gels and scented soaps. No 'dollar store' brands as they do not work well with my skin... infact, I'm allergic. However, normal store brands I do fine with.

Pierced earrings - nothing too big or gawdy. Small danglies if they are cute or fun are fine though. Hypo-allergenic only as I have sensitive ears.

Jewelry - I like necklace/earring sets (hypo-allergenic earrings only as I have sensitive ears). I like nice bracelets, too.

I collect scenic calendars around my house from different countries. (Current ones) - need to start finding fun ones for 2012. Places I'd like to visit that I may not see anytime soon due to the fact I have young children.

Keyrings - nice ones of places (city or state on it) - pretty or unique ones. Not the cheap plastic $1.00 kind. I change my keyring every month. It makes me dream of traveling.

Stationery - I don't like printed from the computer. But, any store bought is nice. I prefer flowers and colorful nice designs. Standard sheets with matching envelopes or pretty computer paper. I also enjoy colored envelopes and colored pens.

Address Labels - I love labels with cute or fun designs with my address on them.

Anything Diddl, Happy Bunny, Stitch, or Hello Kitty would be appreciated. Always. :)

Pandora Style Beads - there are some great looking imitations. If you have any extras you'd like to pass to me for my bracelet, I'd love them.

Paper - stationery, decorated computer paper, postcards, calendars for the next year to come showing a place or country, stickers, multi colored envelopes, anything related to writing.

And much.... much more.

I am not a scrapbook maker, so please NO scrapbook supplies. I do not use them. NO FREE PAINT COLOR CHIPS - or tiny cut pieces of paper. I will not use them - it is like junk to me. In a swap - I'd much rather to receive one thing I love vs. an envelope full of garbage or waste. No un-wrapped tea bags. I will only drink tea from factory sealed tea bags.

I am a very easy going person. If you want to surprise me - I would really love anything diddl ... especially stationery. For the rest - I am not fussy... Thanks for your consideration to make my day brighter.

As you could guess, with 4 children - I do cook alot. I like chocolate - especially white - but, like to also try rare, unique or exotic types. I like sealed powder drink mixes & cocoa - all flavors. I love tea - esp. seasonal types, fruity & interesting, fun sealed tea bags make my day. My favorite tea ever tried is eggnog tea. I usually do not like green tea. I like sealed spice mixes or pre-packaged foods. Please NEVER send me unsealed tea - they must be sealed in their own individual packages or I won't use them. Candies. Anything I do not like, I'm sure my kids would gladly accept.

My boys like cars and trucks, Pokemon cards, Bakugan - they are 6 and 9. My little girl (4) likes stuffed animals, Zoobles, and Littlest Pet Shop. My teenager takes my stuff. She is a very preppy type of girl.

Sadly... sometimes the best intentions lead to disappointment. In 2011 I am adding a 'SHAME' area for anyone who flakes me.

Single Stamped Stuffed Envie Swap - flaked by John Hibbs (jhibbs1969) - the 2nd flake from same guy. He has been fully suspended from Swap-Bot so I will never receive anything. So disappointed.

4,3,2,1 Swap - flaked by John Hibbs (jhibbs1969) 4/8/11. This guy is now fully suspended from the site and flaked numerous other people. Horrid!

Please - stay away from debpossum in swaps if at all possible. She sent me a swap with a minimum $10.00 value consisting of odd length cut ribbon, tiny cut pieces of paper, and free paint color chip samples from the store. It was so disappointing. I gave her a 5 for sending, but that was very generous as her swap did not meet swap description. I later learned the odd cut pieces of ribbon and tiny cut pieces of paper were from a card making kit. Too bad she didn't send the whole kit and not garbage - scraps and nothing I could use. This is regarding swap 'I LOVE PINK'. Beware of debpossum!! She may not be a flaker, but she sends terrible swaps and did not make any effort to fix it.

BEWARE of Rachelcdoyle - she stole the copy of my swap that has been running in a series (#12) word by word. When I confronted her, she said she was going to change it, but became very emotional and angry. There are not very many original ideas. We swap things we like, but if you host a swap - use your own words - don't just 'copy/paste' someone elses swap to make it your own. It isn't nice. I have since blocked her.
