NOTE: My computer is currently on the fritz, so if I don't get around to rating you or marking something as "sent" on time, I apologize! I'm making due with my computer when it decides to work, but I probably won't have any sort of regularity for another week or so. I promise you'll get your swaps from me when you're supposed to or that you'll get rated in the near future! Thanks for your understanding!
I just graduated college with two degrees (psychology and English), so I'm bumming around for a year before I go to graduate school (for the psychology) and sell my soul again for another 7 or so years. I'm a guitarist, pianist, flutist, film lover, voracious reader, singer, poet, writer, and aspiring novelist. I love foreign languages, even if I can't speak or read them... especially the look of written Arabic. I'm an open-minded seeker of Christ, but please don't lump me in with the Bible-pounding, hate-toting types. I'm pretty easy to please and a generally easygoing person with an eclectic set of interests. Surprise me!
I'm very much a wearable crafts person. I've been making a bunch of my own jewelry and dabbling in clothing for quite some time. I have very fair skin and dark hair, so if you're sending something to be worn, I love darker colours (blacks, blues, greens, purples), but I'm a big fan of bright accents and makeups.
I love yarn and string, but I only crochet as of right now. I haven't learned how to knit yet, but that's hopefully going to be one of my new aims.
I love beads! Beads and buttons and charms - they all make my heart sing. I prefer heavier materials like glass or silver, but I don't discriminate.
I just started doing ATCs, and - dear heavens - they're some of the most addicting things ever. I especially love the ones with interesting found items.
Above everything, though, I'm a writer, so I love pens and notebooks and notecards and notecard boxes and everything in their neighborhood.
I love anything with a catchy beat and some good, strong vocals. I'm not a terribly big fan of rap or country, but there are isolated incidents of both that I enjoy. I'm definitely a rock/punk/techno girl, but I'm still true to the good old stuff from the '50s, '60s, and '70s.

Reading was my first love and probably always will be. I started off with L. Frank Baum's "Oz" series and continued for a long time down the fantasy realm. Its cousin, sci-fi, wasn't long in following. I'm not really a non-fiction person, though Chuck Palahniuk's "Stranger than Fiction" was pretty darn good, if I do say so myself.
